Dense Fog Forces Organizers to Cancel Final Day, Prizes and Points Awarded after Two Days of Competition
(Feb 17, 2018 - Jasper, TX) A dense fog on Sam Rayburn Reservoir forced the cancellation of the final day of competition Saturday at the Costa FLW Series Southwestern Division opener on Sam Rayburn Reservoir presented by YETI. Dry Prong, Louisiana boater Kevin Lasyone, who led the first two days of competition and was set to start Day Three with a 10½-pound lead, was declared the winner.

(Feb 12, 2018 - ANDERSON, S.C.) Boater Jayme Rampey of Liberty, South Carolina, caught five bass weighing 18 pounds, 14 ounces, Saturday to win the 2018 T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) South Carolina Division opener on Lake Hartwell. Rampey pocketed $5,886 for his win.

Bailey’s three-day total of 15 bass weighing 49 pounds, 5 ounces, was enough to earn him top honors and $40,200.

Leesburg Pro Catches 19-pound, 14-ounce Final Day Limit, Wins $100,000
(Jan 28, 2018 - Clewiston, FL) When Leesburg, Florida, angler Tim Frederick turned pro and began competing on the Fishing League Worldwide (FLW) Tour, the first event of his career was at Lake Okeechobee in February of 2016. Frederick managed to catch just one bass in two days of competition at that tournament and finished in 169th – last place. On Sunday, Frederick redeemed himself by catching a five-bass limit weighing 19 pounds, 14 ounces, to earn the win the FLW Tour at Lake Okeechobee presented by Evinrude.

Leesburg Pro Brings 15-ounce Lead into Final Day
(Jan 27, 2018 - Clewiston, FL) Pro Tim Frederick of Leesburg, Florida, caught two kicker largemouth Saturday – a 6- and 7-pounder – to anchor his 23-pound, 3-ounce limit and jump to the top of the leaderboard after Day Three of the FLW Tour at Lake Okeechobee presented by Evinrude. Frederick’s five-bass limit was the only bag Saturday that weighed in excess of 20 pounds, telling when you consider that the lake had pumped out 16, 20+ pound limits in the first two days of competition.

(Jan 26, 2018 - MANY, La.) Toledo Bend showed its true colors on Friday during the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series Central Tour presented by Bass Pro Shops. After only offering a single 20-pound bag on the first day of competition, nine teams met that mark or more on Friday.
