(May 27, 2017 - Florence, AL) Day Two of the 2017 BoatUS Colligate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Cabela's on Pickwick Lake began with calm and cool conditions. How would another weather change affect the fishing conditions was on the minds of the top five teams all of whom had weighed in more than 20 pounds on day one.

(May 26, 2017 - Houston County Lake, TX) Tuesday night the forecast said wind and rain.... and so it came...... but, it triggered the fish to bite!!!! There were 40 fish caught, with a total of  97.89 lbs...... That was just 16 teams..... WOW !!!


Tarleton State and University of North Alabama Sit in 2nd and 3rd
(May 25, 2017 - Florence, AL) Day one of the 2017 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Cabela's is in the books. There was no question this would be a great day of bass fishing featuring 192 of the best collegiate fishing teams in the country, representing 91 colleges and universities on the water.

(May 23, 2017 - DUBLIN, Va.) The Madison County High School duo of Connor Hughes of Brightwood, Virginia, and Brian Canterbury of Madison, Virginia, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 9 pounds even to win the 2017 Bass Pro Shops FLW High School Fishing Virginia Open tournament on Claytor Lake.


(May 23, 2017 - Gadsen, AL) The Gardendale High School duo of Griffin Phillips and Fletcher Phillips, both of Mount Olive, Alabama, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Sunday weighing 10 pounds, 15 ounces, to win the 2017 TBF High School Fishing Alabama State Championship tournament on Lake Neely Henry in Gadsden, Alabama. The win advanced the team to the 2017 High School Fishing National championship, held June 27-July 1 at Pickwick Lake in Florence, Alabama.


Muskogee’s Lansford tops Co-angler Division
(May 23, 2017 - McAlester, OK) Boater Phillip Lunceford of Stigler, Oklahoma, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 16 pounds even Saturday to win the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Okie Division event on Eufaula Lake. Lunceford took home $4,830 for his victory.


Charlotte’s Burford tops Co-angler Division
(May 23, 2017 - Henderson, NC) Boater Travis Ruff of Connelly Springs, North Carolina, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 18 pounds even Saturday to win the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) North Carolina Division event on Kerr Lake. Ruff took home $5,466 for his victory.


Albertville’s Pittman tops Co-angler Division
(May 23, 2017 - GUNTERSVILLE, AL.) Boater Chris Mayfield of Phil Campbell, Alabama, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 23 pounds, 14 ounces Saturday to win the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Choo Choo Division event on Lake Guntersville. Mayfield took home $4,079 for his victory.


(May 23, 2017 - Lake LBJ, Texas) The Central Region Bass Champs teams pulled out all the stops at their final tournament on Lake LBJ May 20, 2017. Three quarters of the field brought in limits, and there were only seven pounds separating 1st through 23rd! A record setting 118% was paid back with the winners Shuster and Gerhart loading up on over $28,000 in winnings.


(May 23, 2017 - GILBERTSVILLE, Ky.) The Murray State University team of Zach Baker of Murray, Kentucky, and Micah Chessor of Paducah,Kentucky, won the YETI FLW College Fishing Central Conference tournament presented by Bass Pro Shops on Kentucky and Barkley lakes Saturday after weighing five bass totaling 19 pounds, 4 ounces. The victory earned the duo a $2,000 scholarship and an invitation to compete in the 2018 FLW College Fishing National Championship.


Individual Event #5
(May 23, 2017 - Houston County Lake, TX) There were 22 Individuals who came out to fish the 5th AQ Individual event on Lake Houston. The morning started off with a light fog and take off was 6:10 am.....


(May 23, 2017 - Lake Livingston, TX) The Team of Wayne Miller (of Superior Paint Works ) & his Partner Tommy Swonke brought in 5 fish that weighed 15.87 lbs. That was enough to take first place. These guys also brought in the biggest bass of the day a nice 4.60 lb'er... they won a total of $1,315.00. Congratulations Guys !!!


Maryland Pro claims first FLW Tour victory, wins $125,000
(May 21, 2017 - La Crosse, WI) Pro Bryan Schmitt of Deale, Maryland, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 14 pounds, 10 ounces Sunday to win the FLW Tour at the Mississippi River presented by Evinrude. Schmitt’s four-day total of 20 bass weighing 61 pounds, 6 ounces, was enough to edge second-place pro Joshua Weaver of Macon, Georgia, and win the top prize of $125,000 in the four-day event that featured 160 of the world’s best bass anglers competing in La Crosse.


(May 21, 2017 - Lufkin, TX) It’s not like Brandon Palaniuk had never won a Bassmaster Elite Series event.   Coming into this week, the 29-year-old pro from Idaho had already claimed Elite Series trophies in 2012 and 2013 and came close to raising that win total with three other second-place finishes.  


(May 21, 2017 - Lufkin, TX) When Reese Jones of Rogers, Ark., received notice that he had been selected as one of 12 members of the 2017 Bassmaster High School All-American Fishing Team presented by DICK'S Sporting Goods, he was ecstatic. Winning the honor meant he would be able to fish with a Bassmaster Elite Series pro during a special tournament in conjunction with the Toyota Bassmaster Texas Fest benefiting Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.  


Five-Year Tour Veteran Seeks First Career Win, Brings 12-ounce Lead into Final Day
(May 20, 2017 - La Crosse, WI) Pro Bryan Schmitt of Deale, Maryland, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 15 pounds, 12 ounces to take the lead at the FLW Tour on the Mississippi River presented by Evinrude with a three-day cumulative total of 15 bass totaling 46-12. He now holds a 12-ounce advantage over Day Two leader Andy Morgan heading into the final day of the four-day event that featured 160 of the world’s best bass-fishing professionals casting for a top award of up to $125,000.


Iowa’s Herb Wins Co-angler Title, $20,000
(May 19, 2017 - La Crosse, WI) Livingston Lures pro Andy Morgan of Dayton, TN, caught a five-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 9 ounces Friday to capture the lead at the FLW Tour on the Mississippi River presented by Evinrude with a two-day catch of 10 bass totaling 31-4. He now holds a slim 4-ounce lead after Day Two of the four-day event that features 160 of the world’s best bass-fishing professionals casting for a top award of up to $125,000.


(May 19, 2017 - LUFKIN) Brent Ehrler hasn’t won a tournament since joining the Bassmaster Elite Series in 2015. Brandon Palaniuk hasn’t hoisted an Elite Series trophy since 2013. But after three rounds of the Toyota Bassmaster Texas Fest benefiting Texas Parks and Wildlife Department on Sam Rayburn Reservoir, both anglers are in good position to end those droughts.

(May 18, 2017 - La Crosse, WI) Pro Matthew Stefan of Junction City, Wisconsin, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 18 pounds even Thursday to sit atop the standings after Day One of the FLW Tour at the Mississippi River presented by Evinrude.

(May 17, 2017 - NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla.) Pro-angler Duane Hjelm, of Ft. Pierre, South Dakota, brought in a two-day total of 45.41 pounds of walleye to win the pro-angler category of the Cabela's National Walleye Tour (NWT) event on Lake Sakakawea on May 12. The angler won $15,000 and, by participating in the Ranger and Evinrude contingency programs, was upgraded to a new fully rigged Ranger 620 FS with an 250 horsepower Evinrude G2 outboard for a total of $86,555 in winnings.  


New York’s O’Brien Grabs Co-angler Title
(May 17, 2017 - NORTH EAST, Md.) Dan Rodriguez of Monkton, Maryland, won the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Northeast Division tournament on Chesapeake Bay Saturday with a five-bass limit totaling 19 pounds, 11 ounces.


Alabama’s Davenport Grabs Co-angler Title
(May 16, 2017 - SMYRNA, TN.) Adam Wagner of Cookeville, Tennessee, won the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Music City Division tournament on Percy Priest Lake Saturday with five bass weighing 20 pounds, 3 ounces.


Benton’s Norman Takes Co-angler Title
(May 16, 2017 - Mount Ida, AR) Josh Ray of Alexander, Arkansas, weighed five bass totaling 15 pounds, 1 ounce Saturday to take top honors at the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Arkie Division tournament presented by Mud Hole Custom Tackle on Lake Ouachita


Knoxville’s McGaha Grabs Co-angler Title
(May 16, 2017 - Kodak, TN.) Keith McDeerman of Jacksboro, Tennessee, weighed five bass Saturday totaling 19 pounds even to win the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Volunteer Division tournament on Douglas Lake presented by Navionics.


Ridgeway’s Atkinson Grabs Co-angler Title
(May 16, 2017 - Camden, SC) Mel Long of Hampton, South Carolina, won the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) South Carolina Division tournament on Lake Wateree presented by Navionics Saturday with five bass totaling 15 pounds, 7 ounces.


(May 16, 2017 - Toledo Bend Res./TX-LA) What a picture perfect day on Toledo Bend for the East Region season finale May 13, 2017. With over $72,000 up for grabs, 244 teams hit the water on the hunt for a portion of it. There was even more at stake, with this being the last push for points in the Angler of the Year race. Winners Martin Elshout & Mark Price found nearly 30 pounds of bass to take the win, and several big bass were seen at the scales including a double digit sow!


California Angler Tops Pro Field, Takes Home $81,668 including New Ranger Boat
(May 14, 2017 - BETHEL ISLAND, CA.) Boater Hunter Schlander of Modesto, California, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 21 pounds, 13 ounces Saturday to win the Costa FLW Series Western Division tournament on the California Delta presented by Power-Pole. Schlander’s three-day total of 15 bass weighing 57 pounds, 1 ounce was enough to earn him $81,668, including a new Ranger Z518C boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude outboard.


(May 14, 2017 - Jefferson Ciy, TN) Nathan Bell and Cole Sands of Bryan College vaulted into the winner’s circle at the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series Eastern Regional presented by Bass Pro Shops on Cherokee Lake with a three-day total of 44 pounds, 4 ounces of bass.  


(May 12, 2017 - JEFFERSON CITY, TN.) Sam Carris and John Berry of Tennessee Tech University brought 15 pounds, 15 ounces to the scales and maintained their lead with a two-day total weight of 31-7 at the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series Eastern Regional presented by Bass Pro Shops at Cherokee Lake Friday.


(May 11, 2017 - JEFFERSON CITY, TN.) In a tough opening round of the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series Eastern Regional presented by Bass Pro Shops on Cherokee Lake, Tennessee Tech University teammates Sam Carris and John Berry weighed 15 pounds, 8 ounces of bass to take an early lead.

(May 9, 2017 - GALENA, Ohio) The Graham High School duo of Rocky Jordan of Urbana, Ohio, and Tanner Jordan of Saint Paris, Ohio, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 11 pounds, 5 ounces, to win the 2017 TBF High School Fishing Ohio State Championship tournament on Alum Creek in Galena, Ohio.


(May 9, 2017 - La Crosse, WI) The Stevens Point Area High School duo of Trey Zagrzebski and Cole Zagrzebski, both of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 14 pounds, 6 ounces to win the 2017 Bass Pro Shops FLW High School Fishing Wisconsin Open tournament on the Mississippi River.


DeRidder’s Greer Claims Co-angler Title
(May 9, 2017 - Zwolle, LA) FLW Tour pro Andrew Upshaw of Tulsa, Oklahoma, won the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Cowboy Division tournament presented by Navionics on Toledo Bend Lake Saturday after bringing five bass totaling 30 pounds, 15 ounces to the scale. For his win, Upshaw took home $5,257.


Tyner’s Vickers Nabs Co-angler Title
(May 9, 2017 - BURNSIDE, Ky.) Pat Eichmann of Nancy, Kentucky, brought in 19 pounds, 3 ounces of Lake Cumberland bass Saturday to take top honors at the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Mountain Division event. For his five bass, Eichmann took home $5,889.


Brandenburg’s Dowell Grabs Co-angler Title
(May 9, 2017 - CADIZ, Ky.) Freddy Adkins of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, brought a five-bass limit weighing 22 pounds, 12 ounces to the scale Saturday to win the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) LBL Division tournament on Kentucky and Barkley lakes. For his efforts, Adkins took home $6,559.


Virginia’s Wright Grabs Co-angler Title
(May 9, 2017 - MARBURY, Md.) Aaron Dixon of Bel Alton, Maryland, brought five bass totaling 21 pounds, 9 ounces to the scale Saturday to win the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Shenandoah Division tournament on the Potomac River. For his limit, Dixon earned $3,901.


Kettering’s Crider Grabs Co-angler Title
(May 9, 2017 - Kettering’s Crider Grabs Co-angler Title) Scott Manson of Covington, Ohio, won the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Buckeye Division opener presented by Navionics on Grand Lake Saturday after weighing five bass totaling 12 pounds, 9 ounces. Manson pocketed $4,472 for his win.


Bessemer Angler Bests 196-boat Field to Earn First Career Victory, $48,200
(May 6, 2017 - Dayton, TN.) Alabama angler William Weidler of Bessemer, brought a five-bass limit weighing 22 pounds, 3 ounces to the scale Saturday to win the Costa FLW Series Southeastern Division finale on Lake Chickamauga presented by Lowrance.

(May 3, 2017 - Dayton, TN.) Day One of the Costa FLW Series event on Lake Chickamauga presented by Lowrance, scheduled to start Thursday, has been canceled due to strong winds.


(May 3, 2017 - PROSPERITY, S.C.) The South Florence High School duo of Tommy Floyd of Coward, South Carolina, and James Gibbons of Timmonsville, South Carolina, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 19 pounds, 3 ounces, to win the 2017 TBF High School Fishing South Carolina State Championship tournament on Lake Murray in Prosperity, South Carolina. The win advanced the team to the 2017 High School Fishing National championship, held June 27-July 1 at Pickwick Lake in Florence, Alabama.


(May 3, 2017 -   NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL.) Josh Williams, of Kingston, Oklahoma, and Michael Roger, of Lafayette, Louisiana, weighed 22.66 pounds to win the final regular-season event of the Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela's (TXTT) on April 29 at Lake Texoma. The winning anglers won a brand-new Triton 189TRX. By participating in the Evinrude contingency program, the anglers upgraded to a 225 horsepower Evinrude outboard. The total boat and motor package is valued at $32,395.

(May 2, 2017 - Lake Sam Rayburn, TX) But that didn't stop the Team of Rusty Clark & Cory Rambo the AQ Anglers of the Year from bring in the First place stringer of 5 fish that weighed 20.96 lbs. And they caught the Biggest bass of the day, a nice 6.30 lb'er.   These guys are just that good !!!


(May 2, 2017 - Lake Sam Rayburn, TX) The young man from Rio Vista Texas, Kyle Hall came in with 5 beautiful fish weighing a whopping 25.07 lbs. What a fantastic day for this young man.... Kyle reported catching them in approximately 10 minutes time..... he said he was fishing north on a bridge with deep diving crank baits in about 30 ft of water.
