(Feb. 07, 2014 - CLEWISTON, FL.) The morning started with much cooler conditions on Friday for pro angler Brett Hite of Phoenix, Ariz., and the field of 178 of the world's best bass-fishing anglers on day two of the Walmart FLW Tour on Lake Okeechobee presented by Mercury. Hite still managed to bring a limit weighing 23 pounds, 8 ounces - the day's sixth-best stringer - to the scale to increase his lead in the four-day event that has anglers casting for a top prize of up to $125,000.

(Feb. 05, 2014 - ORLANDO, FL) Van Soles of Haines City, Fla., started slowly in the Bass Pro Shops Bassmater Southern Open presented by Allstate, but in the frigid weather that marked the tournament on Lake Tohopekaliga, he was like a snowball. He gathered speed and eventually rolled over his competition.

Kline wins co-angler title
(Feb. 03, 2014 - LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ.) Billy Skinner of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., weighed five bass totaling 17 pounds, 15 ounces Saturday to win the Rayovac FLW Series Western Division event presented by Mercury on Lake Havasu with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 59 pounds, 5 ounces. For his victory, Skinner earned $40,000.

(Jan. 24, 2014 - JASPER, TX) Due to a winter storm and dangerous icy road conditions, day two of the Rayovac FLW Series at Sam Rayburn Reservoir presented by Mercury has been canceled. Weather permitting, competition will resume as scheduled Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. at the Umphrey Family Pavilion.

(Jan. 20, 2014 - OKEECHOBEE, FL.) Darrell Brackin of Okeechobee, Fla., won the Jan. 18 Gator Division event on Lake Okeechobee with a 25-pound, 7-ounce limit. Brackin took home $6,300 for his efforts.


Jaeger wins co-angler title
(Jan. 11, 2014 - OKEECHOBEE, FL.) Keith Fels of Ocala, Fla., weighed four bass totaling 7 pounds, 15 ounces Saturday to win the Rayovac FLW Series Southeast Division event presented by Power-Pole on Lake Okeechobee with a three-day total of 14 bass weighing 54 pounds, 15 ounces. For his victory, Fels earned $40,000 and a Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard motor.


(Jan. 06, 2014 - Toledo Bend Reservoir, TX/LA) The 2 of Us Couples Trail had it's first tournament Sunday the 5th on Toledo Bend Lake going out and having weigh in at Fin & Feather Resort. The tournament was held as a success by the couples, considering the weather!!!


Campbell wins co-angler title
(Jan. 06, 2014 - CLEWISTON, FL.) Mike Keyso Jr. of North Port, Fla., weighed a five-bass totaling 24 pounds, 14 ounces Saturday to win the first Walmart Bass Fishing League Gator Division tournament of 2014 on Lake Okeechobee. For his victory, Keyso earned $6,000.


(Jan. 04, 2014 - OKEECHOBEE, FL.) Kyle Oliver and Hunter McKamey of the University of Central Florida overcame an unexpected cold front to win the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series Southern Regional on Lake Okeechobee with a two-day total of 39-12. The duo held on to a Day 1 lead and brought 20 pounds, 13 ounces of bass to the scales on Saturday to clinch the win.


(Jan. 03, 2014 - OKEECHOBEE, FL.) Kyle Oliver and Hunter McKamey of the University of Central Florida brought in 18 pounds, 15 ounces of bass to lead after Day 1 of the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series Southern Regional on Lake Okeechobee. What many had hoped would be a slugfest for big bass deteriorated into a game of survival when weather turned unseasonably cold in southern Florida.


(Dec. 07, 2013 - OKEECHOBEE, FL.) Chad Morgenthaler of Coulterville, Ill., is the 56th and last angler to qualify for the 2014 Bassmaster Classic on Alabama's Lake Guntersville, Feb. 21-23. He entered the final round of the Bassmaster Classic Wild Card presented by Star Tron trailing Alabama's Shaye Baker by almost 6 pounds. Baker led the tournament for each of the first two days, but faltered in the finals.


(Dec. 06, 2013 - OKEECHOBEE, FL.) Alabama's Shaye Baker didn't just hold on at the Bassmaster Classic Wild Card presented by Star Tron, he increased his lead over the other 48 competitors. After tallying a limit weighing 29 pounds, 8 ounces on the first day, Baker was back with 19-6 on Day 2 for a total of 48-14.


(Dec. 05, 2013 - OkEECHOBEE, FL.) Alabama's Shaye Baker picked a good day to catch the biggest bass and biggest five-bass limit of his life. The young pro's catch totaled 29 pounds, 8 ounces, and his best largemouth weighed 9-1 to give him a 4 1/2-pound lead over fellow Alabaman and Bassmaster Elite Series pro Russ Lane at the Bassmaster Classic Wild Card presented by Star Tron.


Wahoo Smackdown III Tournament in Bimini
(Nov. 26, 2013 - ALICE TOWN, BIMINI, THE BAHAMAS) A record 32 boats and 175 anglers landing nearly 2,000 pounds of wahoo competed in the Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina's second season Wahoo Smackdown III two-day tournament this past weekend.

Anglers Quest Tournament of Champions
(Oct. 29, 2013 - Lake Sam Rayburn, TX) The 2013 Anglers Quest Tournament of Champions is now in the books, and all but the Rayburn Individual Series are complete for 2013. This event was made up from the 148 qualifiers from each of Anglers Quest 7 Series of events. The event began on Wednesday with 2 days of official practice and on Wednesday the attending qualified 27 teams came together for a meeting and dinner at 7:00 pm at the Big Mamma's Restraunt.


(Oct. 28, 2013 - RUSSELLVILLE, AR.) Jeff Lugar of McGaheysville, Va., only wanted for his sons to be able to say that their dad made it to the Bassmaster Classic. And now, after Lugar's win at the 2013 B.A.S.S. Nation Championship on Arkansas' Lake Dardanelle, they can.


(Oct. 28, 2013 - LANETT, AL.) Bobby Padgett of Lawrence, Ga., won the Walmart Bass Fishing League (BFL) Chevy Wild Card on West Point Lake with a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 21 pounds, 15 ounces. For his victory, Padgett won $3,875 and entry into the BFL All-American presented by Chevy. The tournament was hosted by the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce.


Cothran wins co-angler title
(Oct. 23, 2013 - GAINESVILLE, GA.) David Nichol of Gainesville, Ga., won the Walmart Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional on Lake Lanier with a three-day total of 15 bass totaling 47 pounds, 2 ounces. For his victory, Nichol won a Ranger Z518 with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard plus a Chevy 1500 Silverado and entry into the BFL All-American presented by Chevy.


Kimmel wins co-angler title
(Oct. 23, 2013 - LAVONIA, GA.) Brad Fowler of Pendleton, S.C., won the Walmart Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional on Lake Hartwell with a three-day total of 15 bass totaling 34 pounds, 15 ounces. For his victory, Fowler won a Ranger Z518 with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard plus a Chevy 1500 Silverado and entry into the BFL All-American presented by Chevy. This regional tournament featured the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from each of the Bama, Bulldog, Piedmont and Volunteer divisions.


McDaniel wins co-angler title
(Oct. 23, 2013 - GILBERTSVILLE, Ky.) Toby Corn of West Frankfort Ill., won the Walmart Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional on Kentucky Lake with a three-day total of 15 bass totaling 65 pounds, 6 ounces. For his victory, Corn won a Ranger Z518 with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard plus a Chevy 1500 Silverado and entry into the BFL All-American presented by Chevy. This regional tournament featured the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from each of the Great Lakes, Hoosier, Illini and Mississippi divisions.


Oklahoma's Adair wins co-angler title
(Oct. 23, 2013 - POTTSBORO, TX) Jeff Reynolds of Calera, Okla., won the Walmart Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional on Lake Texoma with a three-day total of 15 bass totaling 42 pounds, 2 ounces. For his victory, Reynolds won a Ranger Z518 with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard plus a Chevy 1500 Silverado and entry into the BFL All-American presented by Chevy. This regional tournament featured the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from each of the Arkie, Cowboy, Okie and Ozark divisions.

(Oct. 23, 2013 - ) Growing year after year, the 6th Annual Mad Dog Mandich Fishing Classic in Islamorada proved to be the most successful Mad Dog tournament to date. With 163 anglers on 36 boats, and another 150 guests that converged from all over South Florida, everyone enjoyed a weekend filled with fishing, fantastic food, drinks, gifts and prizes.

(Oct. 21, 2013 - JASPER, TX) The Hardin-Simmons University team of Randy Sullivan of Breckenridge, Texas, and Hubbell Allen of Abilene, Texas, won the FLW College Fishing Southern Conference Invitational on Sam Rayburn Reservoir Sunday with a five-bass limit weighing 8 pounds, 11 ounces. Their two-day total of 10 bass weighing 30-13 earned the club $4,000 and qualified the team for the 2014 FLW College Fishing National Championship.


(Oct. 21, 2013 - Lake Maumelle & Arkansas River, AR) The Championship tournament for Super Team opened with rain and a 25 mph wind at Lake Maumelle and a beautiful fall day on Arkansas River. The 34 Teams caught 313fish weighing 524.1 with 25/10 fish two day limits.

A very special thanks to Rick Smith with Marine Outlet helped with the reservations at Blora Park with Department of The Army. We had a fabulous dinner from Fat Boys BBQ out of Temple, Texas for our banquet, also hosted by Temple Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The Humboldt State University team of Graeme Lock of Arcata, Calif., and Derrick Hicks of Lincoln, Calif., won the FLW College Fishing Western Conference Invitational on Clear Lake Sunday with a five-bass limit weighing 20 pounds, 1 ounce. Their two-day total of 10 bass weighing 41-10 earned the club $4,000 and qualified the team for the 2014 FLW College Fishing National Championship.


(Oct. 16, 2013 - Calcium NY) On October 12-13th The Bass Federation (TBF) held their annual State Team Qualifier (STQ) tournament on Lake Champlain with their base of operations out of Port Henry. Weather conditions were stable for three days leading into the event to include day one. However, day two the big lake showed her colors as Mother Nature produced sustained SSE winds of 8-15 mph.


Championship event pays out over $105,000 to competitors
(Oct. 14, 2013 - NORMAN, OK.) Bill Wilcox, of Burleson, Texas, and Gib Coats, of Fort Worth, Texas, brought 48.56 pounds of bass to the scales to win the two-day championship event of the Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela's (TXTT) on Oct. 13 at Falcon Lake. The winning anglers took home a brand new, fully rigged Ranger Z119C boat powered by an Evinrude outboard, valued at $45,000.

Ray wins co-angler title
(Oct. 12, 2013 - LAKEPORT, CA.) Jody Jordan of Vacaville, Calif., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 28 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday to win the EverStart Series Western Division event presented by Mercury Marine on Clear Lake with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 81 pounds, 1 ounce. For his victory, Jordan earned $28,958 and a Ranger Z518 with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard motor.

In fact, just three months ago the Rogers, Ark., resident was kicking tires and comparing options on the latest models when something told him to hold off for a while. It's just as well because Wilson was the winner of the Toyota All-Star Fan Favorite Angler Sweepstakes and a new 2014 Toyota Tundra valued at $35,000.

(Oct. 06, 2013 - Jasper, TX) Jason Wells of Center, Texas, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 18 pounds, 3 ounces Saturday to win the EverStart Series Texas Division event on Sam Rayburn Reservoir presented by Power-Pole. Wells' three-day total of 15 bass weighing 57 pounds, 14 ounces earned him $24,881.

BQ cook-off, kids' zone and off-road test tracks highlight weekend
(Oct. 06, 2013 - CONROE, TX) After the top 10 anglers competed on Sunday, Keith Combs of Huntington, TX claimed the championship at the Toyota Texas Bass Classic. Dominating the weekend, Combs won wire-to-wire staying in the lead all three days of competition.


Iowa duo win Crappie Masters event with 27.83 pounds of Crappie
(Oct. 01, 2013 - COLUMBIA, S.C.) Diversity is key to any fishermen, but Tommy Skarlis is taking it to another level, adding 2013 Crappie Master National Champion to his resume. The Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters National Championship took place this past weekend Grenada Lake and featured two Iowa residents that claimed the title. Weighing in 27.83 of crappie, Skarlis and teammate Kyle Steinfeldt took home the top honors, beating the nearest competitors by over two pounds.

Soon after he received the diamond-encrusted ring, he learned that his 14 pounds, 4 ounces of Muskegon Lake bass was enough to take the first-day lead

(Sep. 24, 2013 - GILBERTSVILLE, KY.) Brent Anderson of Kingston Springs, Tenn., weighed in a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 43 pounds, 9 ounces Sunday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League LBL Division super tournament on Kentucky and Barkley lakes. For his victory, Anderson earned $5,517.

Warden wins co-angler title
(Sep. 24, 2013 - ROCKWOOD,TN) Brian Hazel of Clinton, Tenn., weighed in a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 30 pounds, 14 ounces Sunday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Volunteer Division super tournament on Watts Bar Lake. For his victory, Hazel earned $4,268.
