Alabama's Martin Leads Wire-to-Wire, Wins Co-Angler Title, $25,000
(Jun. 09, 2012 - MURRAY, Ky.) Snickers pro Chris Baumgardner didn't weigh the largest sack of bass during the third day of competition at the Walmart FLW Tour on Kentucky Lake presented by OFF!. However, it turned out to be enough to take the lead in a field of pros from all across the United States, Canada, Spain and Japan as they fish for a top cash award of up to $125,000.

(Jun. 08, 2012 - MORGAN CITY, La.) Louisiana won big Friday in the 2012 Cabela's B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Central Divisional. The host anglers caught a total of 328 pounds, 2 ounces of Atchafalaya Basin bass across three days to claim their team championship.


Martin Continues to Pace Co-Anglers
(Jun. 08, 2012 - MURRAY, Ky.) M&M's pro Jim Moynagh of Carver, Minn., has 18 career top-10's with FLW, but only one has come on Kentucky Lake - an eighth place finish in 2006. Moynagh has now put himself into strong contention to make it 19 after bringing the largest stringer of the day to the scales this afternoon.

Talk about a dynamite two-for-one deal: Brent Chapman's Friday performance in the Toledo Bend Battle yielded five lunker bass that pushed him into first place in the event standings, while also pushing him toward recapturing first place in the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year points race.

The Walmart FLW Tour Major on Kentucky Lake presented by OFF! began on Thursday as a field of the best bass-fishing professionals from all across the United States, Canada, Spain and Japan launched underneath the beautiful, sunny skies of Kentucky. Anglers employed a variety of techniques and strategies as they began the competition for a top cash award of up to $125,000.


(Jun. 07, 2012 - Lake Belton, TX) Skeeter Bass Champs Central Region wrap up sent the final field of competitors to Lake Belton June 2. Limits were hard to come by for many, and every team worked hard for their catch. $38,750 was awarded in cash and prizes so every cast counted. John Weatherly and Rex Wheeler had a dominating win with 15.51 lbs to take home the 1st place $20,000 check.

(Jun. 07, 2012 - Lak Ray Roberts, YX) The June 2nd tournament was the final event of the 2012 regular season in the NorTex Region. Early morning was cool in the 60s and a bit breezy but before noon temperatures reached mid 90s and the breeze slowed making it a bit uncomfortable for our anglers.


(Jun. 06, 2012 - Morgan City, LA) Oklahoma angler and 2011 Bassmaster Classic qualifier Dale Hightower weighed a sack of five fish that tipped the scales at 17 pounds, 5 ounces on Wednesday, the first day of the Cabela's B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Central Divisional. But when he looked over his shoulder, he saw Nebraska's Jared Knuth a scant 10 ounces behind with 16 pounds, 11 ounces.

(Jun. 05, 2012 - Lake Palestine, TX) Pam & Joey Ridgle won our last Tournament of the year in Texas North Central Fishers of Men. It was our biggest pay day ever as they claimed the $2,000.00 bonus money for winning The C&R Service and Repair Invitational on Lake Palestine. Their total winnings were $3,120.00. Their 4 fish were just enough to win with 13.57 lbs over all. Pam also had Big Bass that weighed 7.53 lbs. They caught fish using Wave Worm Tiki Stick & Swim Bugs.

(Jun. 05, 2012 - Isle, MN) Pennsylvanians Doug Yohe and Charlie Brant tapped a torrid Mille Lacs Lake walleye bite for a 17.20-pound two-day total to top the 131-boat field competing in the Cabela's Masters Walleye Circuit qualifier May 31-June 1.


Kordenbrock Wins Co-Angler Title
(Jun. 04, 2012 - Scottsville, Ky.) Mark Morgan of Somerset, Ky., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 18 pounds, 7 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Mountain Division event on the Barren River. For his victory, Morgan earned $5,963.

This 6th event of 2012 was started as a trailoring event at 5:55 am. The weigh in time was conducted at 3:30 pm. Any Individual entering 6 of the 8 Individual series at Sam Rayburn will automatically qualify for the 2-day Rayburn Individual Championship.


Waggoner Wins Co-Angler Title
(Jun. 4, 2012 - Warsaw, MO.) Marcus Sykora of Osage Beach, Mo., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 15 pounds, 11 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Ozark Division event on Truman Lake. For his victory, Sykora earned $4,766.

This 6th event of 2012 was started as a trailoring event at 5:55 am. The weigh in time was conducted at 4:00 pm. Any Team entering 6 of the 8 saturday series events at Sam Rayburn will automatically qualify for the 2-day Rayburn Team Championship.

(Jun. 04, 2012 - Marbury, MD.) Jamie Hartman of Newport, N.Y., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 20 pounds, 11 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Northeast Division event on the Potomac River. For his victory, Hartman earned $7,271.


Burk Wins Co-Angler Title
(Jun. 04, 2012 - Birdseye, IN.) Gary Dees of Hamilton, Ohio, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 16 pounds, 13 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Hoosier Division event on Lake Patoka. For his victory, Dees earned $5,514.


Cullipher Wins Co-Angler Title
(Jun. 04, 2012 - Russellville, AR) Keith Williams of Conway, Ark., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 19 pounds, 5 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Arkie Division event on Lake Dardanelle. For his victory, Williams earned $3,289.

Bailey wins co-angler title
(Jun. 02, 2012 - MANY, LA.) Glen Freeman of Converse, La., weighed a five bass limit on Saturday weighing 24 pounds, 12 ounces to win the EverStart Series Texas Division on Toledo Bend presented by Mercury.

(Jun. 02, 2012 - Many, LA.) The University of Texas-Tyler team of Charlie Brown and Matthew McClellan, won the National Guard FLW College Fishing Southern Conference event on Toledo Bend Saturday with four bass weighing 15 pounds, 4 ounces. The victory earned the team $5,000. The win also helped them advance to the Southern Conference Championship.


Hewlett, Hill will face off against team from Virginia Tech

Justin Hewlett, of Statesboro, Ga., and Geoff Hill, of Kennesaw, Ga., collegiate anglers from Georgia Southern University, recently secured the second and final slot in the Ranger Cup University Team of the Year finals. As the highest-finishing Ranger Cup University-qualified team with a total weight of 28.24 pounds during the two-day BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship on Alabama's Lake Pickwick


(Jun. 01, 2012 - GREEN RIVER, WY.) Nik Autrey and Tyler Evans are the newest names on the 2012 Bassmaster Junior World Championship roster. The pair out-fished their peers today on Wyoming's Flaming Gorge during the Junior Bassmaster competition at the 2012 Cabela's Bassmaster Federation Nation Western Divisional.


(Jun. 01, 2012 - GREEN RIVER, WY.) At 9 o'clock this morning, Shane Baertsch caught his last fish. The next five grueling hours of no bites made him think he had lost the 2012 Cabela's Bassmaster Federation Nation Western Divisional on Wyoming's Flaming Gorge. But as it turned out, the second-day leader had an entire pound on the competition, and he was crowned the champion at today's weigh-in.

Any team entering 6 of the 8 Lake Houston Team Series events will automatically qualify for the 2-day Houston Championship. The top team in points after all 8 events will be declared the Team Anglers of the Year and will be awarded free entries to all 2013 Houston Team Series events.


(May. 28, 2012 - Florence, AL) Ben Dziwulski and Ethan Cox are the 2012 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Champions. Over the course of two days they managed to haul 45.60 pounds of bass, both largemouth and smallmouth from Lake Pickwick. For the first time in its seven year history, the traveling trophy is making a repeat visit, heading back to Raleigh, North Carolina and the campus of North Carolina State.

(May. 25, 2012 - Lake Pickwick, GA) Heading into the 2012 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship, everyone expected good fishing, but many of the teams close to Pickwick proved it was better than that. It was phenomenal, with over 1,600 pounds of bass brought to the scales! To put that into perspective, that is over 500 pounds heavier than the two day total last year.

(May. 22, 2012 - Falcon Lake, TX) As the South Region Bass Champs anglers headed to Lake Falcon for their final event, the number of bass they were allowed was decreased to three instead of the normal five allowed in most other tournaments. That did not stop these top notch anglers from bringing in incredible weights that looked like it came from five fish!


(May. 21, 2012 - Lake Shelbyville, IL.) The Lake Shelbyville Muskie Club along with the Illinois Muskie Tournament Trail held a tournament on Lake Shelbyville on May 19. High skies and high air temperatures made for a tough bite.

(May. 21, 2012 - Lake Sam Rayburn, TX) We had a total of 17 couples fish our 5th tournament of the season. It was a very nice day and we were welcomed by Terry and Connie of Jackson Hill Marina. There were a total of 66 fish caught and a total of 110.66 lbs.


(May. 21, 2012 - Belton, TX) The 2 of Us Couples Tournament Central Division had our fifth tournament of 2012 on Lake Belton on Saturday, May 19th. We had a total of 10 couples fish this tournament. It was a nice start of the day but a little windy! There were a total of 20 fish caught and a total of 36.98 lbs were released.


(May. 20, 2012 - Bolivar Peninsula, TX. ?) Forty nine teams signed up to compete in the 3rd Annual Bolivar Slam Fishing Tournament event held on Saturday, May 19, 2012, which allowed teamed anglers to fish for slam limits of three (3) speckled trout, two (2) redfish, and one (1) flounder. Those that managed to catch a slam limit won cash prizes and were granted a free entry into next years 4th Annual Bolivar Slam Fishing Tournament.


Virginia's Dillow Wins Co-Angler Title, $20,000

(May. 19, 2012 - HURON, OH) South Dakotans Rick Olson & Tom Wiehoff finished strong to win a big-fish shootout by more than four pounds. They competed among 160 anglers from 13 states and one Canadian province at the Cabela's Masters Walleye Circuit's Lake Erie tournament out of Huron, Ohio.


Carhartt Bassmaster College Midwest Super Regional in La Crosse, Wis.
(May. 19, 2012 - LA CROSSE, WI.) Edward Rude III arrived in La Crosse, Wis., by way of a 16-hour drive from his hometown of Falling Waters, W.Va. He was in an unfamiliar town to fish in a tournament on an even more foreign body of water.


Waller wins Co-angler division title
(May. 19, 2012 - NATIONAL HARBOR, Md.) In his first BFL All-American appearance, Brian Maloney of Osage Beach, Mo., went wire-to-wire to win the Walmart BFL All-American presented by Chevy with five bass weighing 13 pounds, 6 ounces. In a championship that came down to ounces, Maloney's three-day total of 15 bass weighing 43-4 beat Dick Shaffer of Rockford, Ohio, by only 6 ounces.


Virginia's Dillow Wins Co-Angler Title, $20,000
(May. 19, 2012 - NATIONAL HARBOR, MD.) National Guard pro Scott Martin hasn't had a big fish in his weigh bag since the first day of competition at the Walmart FLW Tour on the Potomac River presented by the National Guard. His consistency is making up for the lack of a big fish, however, and he has now led all three days of competition against a field of pros from all across the United States, Canada, Spain and Japan as they fish for a top cash award of up to $125,000.

(May. 18, 2012 - MARATHON, Florida Keys) Rich Meyhew and Jeff and Ken Parker, all from Horseheads, N.Y., won the overall grand championship at the Faro Blanco Invitational Tarpon Tournament that ended May 11 in Marathon.


Vicki Henderson captured her first ever co-angler championship
(May. 18, 2012 - Russellville, AR.) Pelham, Alabama's Kim Bain-Moore pulled a hard-earned five-bass limit weighing 11.48 today from the waters of Alabama's Lake Dardanelle. Combined with her day one catch of 10.04, that gave her 21.52-pounds of bass earning her the Lady Bass Anglers Association (LBAA) 2012 Lake Dardanelle Championship, was this an easy victory for Aussie transplant Bain-Moore, not by any stretch of the imagination.

Maryland's Reese Paces Co-Anglers
(May. 18, 2012 - NATIONAL HARBOR, MD.) The world's best bass pros continued to be successful Friday at the Walmart FLW Tour Major on the Potomac River presented by the National Guard as anglers from all across the United States, Canada, Spain and Japan continued their four-day battle for a top cash award of up to $125,000. FLW anglers continued to use a variety of baits and techniques throughout the day with much of the same results as the first day of competition.


Akin maintains lead in Co-angler division
(May. 18, 2012 - NATIONAL HARBOR, MD.) Brian Maloney of Osage Beach, Mo., maintained his lead at the Walmart BFL All-American presented by Chevy, with five bass weighing 14 pounds, 10 ounces for a two-day total of 10 bassweighing 29-14. He has a 1-pound lead over second place angler Dick Shaffer of Rockford, Ohio, who has a two-day total of 10 bass weighing 28-14.
