(Apr. 28, 2012 - KELSEYVILLE, CA.) The Utah Valley University team of Zachari Taylor and Aaron Warner won the National Guard FLW College Fishing Western Conference event on Clear Lake Saturday with five bass weighing 19 pounds, 10 ounces.

(Apr. 27, 2012 - ROGERS, AR.) Chevy pro Luke Clausen of Spokane, Wash. has 14 top-10 finishes on the FLW Tour, but a strong finish at Beaver Lake has always seemed to elude him. Clausen took a big step in getting that monkey off of his back as he is now leading a full field of pros from all across the United States, Canada, Spain and Japan as they fish for a top cash award of up to $125,000 at the Walmart FLW Tour Major on Beaver Lake presented by Straight Talk.

(Apr. 27, 2012 - BRANSON, MO .) Dustin Lester's third trip to Table Rock could be a charm. The Huntington Beach, Calif., angler jumped into the pro division lead with 37 pounds, 3 ounces in the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Open at Table Rock Lake by catching the biggest limit (21-15) of the tournament today.

(Apr. 24, 2012 - KUTTAWA, Ky.) Darrel Knies of Avon, Ind., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 21 pounds, 2 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League LBL Division event on Lake Barkley. For his victory, Knies earned $6,905.

(Apr. 23, 2012 - BRACEY, VA.) Shawn Hammack of Gasburg, Va., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 18 pounds, 9 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Piedmont Division event on Lake Gaston. For his victory, Hammack earned $3,883.

They had "boat issues," then on their drive from Norfork Lake, where the competition was held Sunday, their rig got rear-ended.

Brandon Palaniuk may have $100,000 in the bank after his win today at the Bassmaster Elite Series TroKar Quest at Bull Shoals Lake, but that's not going to change his lifestyle. He planned to spend Sunday night sleeping in his pickup truck, just as he has every night this week and during most other tournaments.

Clark wins co-angler title
(Apr. 21, 2012 - SUMMERTON, S.C.) The longest fog delay in the history of FLW took place today at the EverStart Series Southeast Division event presented by Evinrude on Santee Cooper - nearly five hours. That only delayed Ken Ellis of Bowman, S.C., from weighing in a five-bass limit totaling 20 pounds even Saturday to win the Southeast Division event.


(Apr. 21, 2012 - BULL SHOALS, AR.) Brandon Palaniuk has been relentless in his pursuit of a win during the Elite Series TroKar Quest on Bull Shoals Lake, and he isn't holding anything back, even though he has almost a 13-pound lead over his nearest rival.


Keivens wins Co-angler title
(Apr. 21, 2012 - RED WING, MN.) Pro Brian Bjorkman of Fargo, N.D. tried to make the final day of the National Guard FLW Walleye Tour on the Mississippi River presented by Evinrude exciting by bringing in a 28 pound 11 ounce sack, the heaviest sack of the day, with his co-angler Keith Keivens of Toledo Ohio.


(Apr. 20, 2012 - BULL SHOALS, AR.) After taking the top spot on Day 1 of the Bassmaster Elite Series TroKar Quest, Brandon Palaniuk was determined not to relinquish his lead. Despite hooking his left pinky finger to the bone and taking a trip to the emergency room to have the barb cut out, Palaniuk again brought the biggest bag to the scales with 24 pounds, 4 ounces.

High skies reduce weight of leader's catch but still enough to increase lead to double digits
(Apr. 20, 2012 - RED WING, MN.) According to pro Tommy Skarlis of Waukon, Iowa, the only thing worse for his style of fishing than high skies is lightening. Today's high skies didn't seem to slow him down too much as he brought another five walleye limit weighing 20 pounds, 13 ounces to the scales on day two of the National Guard FLW Walleye Tour presented by Evinrude.


(Apr. 19, 2012 - Toledo Bend Reservoir, TX) We had a total of 19 couples fish our fourth tournament of the season. We were Welcomed by Lowes Creek Marina for our tournament. We had a very windy day and tuff fishing. We had a total 59 fish caught and total of 124.76lbs. Scott Gill & Lacey Graham had first place total of 13.94 lbs.


(Apr. 19, 2012 - BULL SHOALS, AK) Brandon Palaniuk was the last angler to launch his boat for the Bassmaster Elite Series TroKar Quest on Bull Shoals Lake in Mountain Home, Ark., today, and he was the last to weigh-in, but his Day 1 finish was first with a catch of 21 pounds, 9 ounces. That included the Carhartt Big Bass of the day, a 5-pound, 11-ounce largemouth.


Rain does not hamper walleye catch
(Apr. 19, 2012 - RED WING, MN.) The steady rain that settled in late Thursday didn't hamper walleye pro Tommy Skarlis of Waukon, Iowa, and his co-angler Jimmy Cox of Bono, Ark., on the first day of the National Guard FLW Walleye Tour presented by Evinrude. They brought in a limit of five walleyes weighing 36 pounds, 12 ounces to take a dominating lead on day one of the season opener being held on the Mississippi River in Red Wing, Minn.

(Apr. 17, 2012 - Lake OH Ivie, TX) The women seemed to catch the Big Bass at the 2 of Us Couples tournament held on O H Ivie on March 24th. It was a beautiful day to fish and the day started out great with 7 couples teams fishing. Four couples teams caught the 5 fish limit. A total of 25 fish were caught total weight 61.66 lbs.

(Apr. 17, 2012 - MONTICELLO, KY) Mark Morgan of Somerset, Ky., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 16 pounds, 4 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Mountain Division event on Lake Cumberland. For his victory, Morgan earned $6,009.


(Apr. 17, 2012 - Lake Murray, OK) With very comfortable temperatures all day, a few sprinkles off and on early, Saturday, April 14 was another very windy day for the NorTex Region's anglers. Because Lake Murray is a smaller impoundment, the anglers did not have to fight big waves as much as might have been encountered on a bigger lake with more open water.

(Apr. 17, 2012 - ALEXANDER CITY, AL.ALEXANDER CITY, AL.) Chris Ingram of Eclectic, Ala., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 13 pounds, 8 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Bama Division event on Lake Martin. For his victory, Ingram earned $3,113.


Frye wins co-angler title
(Apr. 17, 2012 - SUMMERTON, S.C.) Chuck Howard of Elloree, S.C., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 27 pounds, 14 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League South Carolina Division event on Santee Cooper. For his victory, Howard earned $5,466.

(Apr. 16, 2012 - BLOOMINGTON, IN) John Melton of Corydon, Ind., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 19 pounds, 1 ounce Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Hoosier Division event on Lake Monroe. For his victory, Melton earned $5,632.

Any team entering 6 of the 8 of Livingston Saturday Series events will automatically qualify for the 2-day Livingston Championship.

(Apr. 15, 2012 - COLUMBIA, S.C.) The team of Dalton Anderson and Dawson Lenz, both of Peachtree City, Ga., McIntosh High School, dominated the field Sunday with five bass weighing 16 pounds, 12 ounces to take the top honors at the inaugural The Bass Federation (TBF) High School Fishing National Championship on Lake Murray. For their efforts, the team won a $10,000 scholarship ($5,000 to each team member).


(Apr. 15, 2012 - COLUMBIA, S.C.) The National Guard FLW College Fishing National Championship on Lake Murray is a team event. Twenty-five teams from across the country competed in 20 qualifying events and five conference championship tournaments, and the top five teams from each conference competed for the title of national champion in this prestigious three-day nationally televised event.

(Apr. 14, 2012 - JASPER, TX) Philip Crelia of Center, Texas, weighed only two bass on Saturday that weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces but it was enough to win the EverStart Series Texas Division on Sam Rayburn Reservoir presented by Mercury.


(Apr. 14, 2012 - COLUMBIA, S.C.) Change seemed to be the name of the game Saturday at the National Guard FLW College Fishing National Championship on Lake Murray. Although the weather was more of the same - beautiful and sunny with temperatures hovering at 80 degrees - more than one team said changing conditions forced teams to make adjustments to their fishing approaches.

(Apr. 13, 2012 - Mountain Home, AR) This year not only Bass Cat Boat Owners, but Yar-Craft Owners were welcomed from all across the country to beautiful Mountain Home, Arkansas. This two day tournament is open to all owners of Bass Cat and Yar-Craft Boats from the oldest models to the newest models.


(Apr. 13, 2012 - COLUMBIA, S.C.) The weather was beautiful for the opening day of the National Guard FLW College Fishing National Championship on Lake Murray. And for the most part, the fish cooperated as well. Only 14 ounces separated the top five teams at the end of the day. In the end, the Clemson University team of Andy Wicker of Pomaria, S.C., and Harold Turner of Sumter, S.C., stood atop the leaderboard with five bass weighing 16 pounds, 14 ounces.

Denton Resident McClendon and Sanger Resident Thomas Win on Ray Roberts
(Apr. 11, 2012 - NORMAN, OK) The Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela's continued their 2012 season this past weekend on Lake Ray Roberts. Another successful tournament is now in the books as many more anglers took a shot at winning the fully-rigged 18-foot Stratos boat.

(Apr. 08, 2012 - Belton, TX) The 2 of Us Couples Tournament Central Division had our third tournament of 2012 on Lake Belton on Saturday, April 7th out of Cedar Ridge. We had a total of 13 couples fish this tournament.

(Apr. 07, 2012 - Cornelius, N.C.) A big opening day followed by double-digit limits the next two days made a winner of Tracy Adams at the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Southern Open on Lake Norman.


David Gillham wins co-angler title
(Apr. 06, 2012 - BULL SHOALS, AR.) Robbie Dodson of Harrison, Ark., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 14 pounds, 13 ounces Friday to win the EverStart Series Central Division event on Bull Shoals with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 44 pounds, 1 ounce.


(Apr. 06, 2012 - Cornelius, N.C.) Thirteen was a lucky number for Tracy Adams today during the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Southern Open on Lake Norman. The Wilkesboro, N.C., angler caught a 13-pound, 13-ounce limit today to retain the lead in the pro division of the Open.
