The University of Louisiana-Monroe team of Paul Clark of Monroe, La., and Brett Preuett of Pineville, Ala., brought four bass to the scales Sunday totaling 12 pounds, 4 ounces to win the 2013 FLW College Fishing National Championship on Beaver Lake. Their three-day total of 14 bass weighing 40-3 gave them a slim 9-ounce margin of victory in a dramatic finish over the University of North Carolina-Charlotte team of Shane Lehew of Charlotte, N.C., and Adam Waters of Denver, N.C.
(Apr. 21, 2013 - Mill Creek Grocery, Lake Sam Rayburn, TX) We had a total of 18 couples fish our tournament. A total of 73 fish caught and 157.46lbs. We were welcomed by Mill Creek Grocery. First place was won by Ty & Kim Hutchins with a total weight 16.85lb, second place was won by Chris Fontenot & Sheryl Cranford with a weight of 15.36lbs and third place was won by Derek & Tammy Mong with a weight of 14.72lbs.

The wind blew harder, the water level rose and its temperature dropped, but Greg Vinson figured out the changing Bull Shoals Lake fishing conditions to lead the Bassmaster Elite Series Ramada Quest. The Alabama angler finished 1 pound over Skeet Reese and less than 2 pounds over 2013 Bassmaster Classic winner Cliff Pace.

In the fourth of five tournaments for the East Texas Region on April 13, 2013 anglers enjoyed a whopping 122% payback percentage. Arkansas anglers Scotty Villines and Charles Jones championed the event taking home over $20,000.

Chris Cox of Greenville, N.C., and David Farrington of Greensboro, N.C., both weighed a five-bass limit totaling 16 pounds, 2 ounces Saturday to tie for first at the Walmart Bass Fishing League Piedmont Division event on Kerr Lake. Cox and Farrington both earned $3,937.
Stuefen, Holten Win Cabela's Masters Walleye Circuit's Detroit River Tournament Presented by Zippo Outdoors
(Apr. 15, 2013 - Trenton, MI.) After taking the lead on the first day of competition with a record-breaking 49-pound, 10-ounce basket, Iowans Marty Stuefen and Carl Holten hung on to win the Cabela's Masters Walleye Circuit's Detroit River and western Lake Erie tournament at Trenton, Michigan.

(Apr. 15, 2013 - Grand Lake, OK) Weather was unpredictable, practice was hectic, but this week Grand Lake dealt three solid tournament days as 94 anglers from across the US and Canada met for the 2013 Federation National Championship. Each day anglers came across the stage smashing their tournament bests and big fish records, winning or losing by ounces and consistently bagging 20 lbs of Grand Lake bass.
Arkansas' Meador Wins Co-Angler Title, $25,000

Rayovac pro Jason Christie of Park Hill, Okla., brought a 20-pound, 4-ounce stringer to the scales Saturday - the third-largest stringer ever weighed in during FLW competition at Beaver Lake. Christie didn't duplicate that effort Sunday, but it turns out he didn't need to.
