Thrift’s three-day total of 45-9 makes him the No. 1 seed on championship Sunday as the field is now cut to the final 10 anglers in the event that featured 164 of the top bass anglers in the world casting for a top cash award of up to $125,000.


Minnesota’s Larson Wins Co-Angler Title, $20,350
(Feb 17, 2017 - Jonestown, TX) Pro Stephen Patek of Garland, Texas, brought a five-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 1 ounce, to the scale Friday to take the lead after day two of the FLW Tour at Lake Travis presented by Quaker State with a two-day catch of 10 bass totaling 34-6. Patek will bring a slim 4-ounce lead over Bryan Thrift of Shelby, North Carolina, into day three of the four-day event that features 164 of the top bass-fishing anglers in the world competing for a top cash award of up to $125,000.

Thrift will bring a 4-pound, 7-ounce lead into day two of the four-day event that features 164 of the top bass-fishing anglers in the world competing for a top cash award of up to $125,000.


(Feb 13, 2017 - LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ.) University of Oregon angler Ryan Habenicht of Creswell, Oregon, won the YETI FLW College Fishing Western Conference opener on Lake Havasu Saturday with four bass weighing 13 pounds, 3 ounces, despite fishing the team event solo as his partner was unable to compete. The victory earned the University of Oregon bass club a $2,000 club scholarship and Habenicht will now advance to compete solo at the 2018 FLW College Fishing National Championship.

(Feb 13, 2017 - Okeechobee, FL) Bryan Honnerlaw of Moore Haven, Florida, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 21 pounds, 5 ounces, Saturday to win the second T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Gator Division tournament on Lake Okeechobee presented by Navionics. For his efforts, Honnerlaw earned the top award of $5,612.

Joe Uribe Jr. of Surprise, Arizona, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 22 pounds, 1 ounce, Saturday to claim top honors at the Costa FLW Series Western Division opener on Lake Havasu presented by Ranger Boats. Uribe’s three-day total of 15 bass weighing 51 pounds, 13 ounces, was enough to earn him $80,838, including a new Ranger Z518C boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude outboard.

Ken Wheeler of Martin, Georgia, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 15 pounds, 6 ounces, Saturday to win the first T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Savannah River Division tournament of 2017 on Lake Keowee presented by Navionics. For his win, Wheeler took home the top award of $5,889.


Arkansas Pro Catches 18-pound, 3-ounce Final Day Limit, Wins $125,000
(Feb 5, 2017 - GUNTERSVILLE, AL.) General Tire pro Mark Rose of West Memphis, Arkansas, caught five bass Sunday weighing 18 pounds, 3 ounces to win $125,000 at the FLW Tour at Lake Guntersville presented by Lowrance. Rose’s four-day total of 20 bass weighing 79-11 gave him a 15-ounce margin of victory of second-place angler Bryan Thrift of Shelby, North Carolina.


Arkansas Pro takes 4-pound, 12-ounce Lead into Final Day
(Feb 4, 2017 - GUNTERSVILLE, AL.) General Tire pro Mark Rose of West Memphis, Arkansas, caught a five-bass limit Saturday weighing 19 pounds even to extend his lead at the FLW Tour at Lake Guntersville presented by Lowrance. Rose’s three-day total of 61-8 gives him a 4-pound, 12-ounce lead heading into the fourth and final day of competition. The field is now cut to the final 10 anglers in the event that featured 165 of the best bass-fishing anglers in the world competing for a top cash award of up to $125,000.

General Tire pro Mark Rose of West Memphis, Arkansas, caught a five-bass limit weighing 20 pounds, 4 ounces Friday to capture the lead after day two of the FLW Tour at Lake Guntersville presented by Lowrance with a two-day catch of 10 bass totaling 42-8. Rose will bring a 3-pound lead into day two of the four-day season-opening event that features 165 of the top bass-fishing anglers in the world competing for a top cash award of up to $125,000.


Tennessee’s Huff Leads Co-Anglers
(Feb 2, 2017 - Gunte) Hometown favorite Jay Kendrick of Grant, Alabama, drew cheers from an appreciative crowd Thursday when he crossed the weigh-in stage at Guntersville City Harbor with a five-bass limit weighing 25 pounds, 12 ounces to lead day one of the FLW Tour at Lake Guntersville presented by Lowrance. Kendrick now brings a 3-pound, 8-ounce lead into day two of the four-day season-opening event that features 165 of the top bass-fishing anglers in the world competing for a top cash award of up to $125,000.


Cooler weather drives bite deep
(Feb 2, 2017 - Jan 28,2017) Ben Matsubu, of Hemphill, Texas, and Brannon Mire, of Youngsville, Louisiana, weighed 28.73 pounds to win the season opener for the Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela's (TXTT) on Jan. 28 on Sam Rayburn Reservoir. The winning anglers took home a brand new Stratos 189VLO with 225 hp Evinrude outboard, valued at $32,395.


(Jan 30, 2017 - Jasper, TX) The John B. Connally High School duo of Jeffrey Padavick of Austin, and Matthew McMillan of Pflugerville, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 16 pounds, 10 ounces, to win the 2017 FLW/TBF High School Fishing Texas State Championship tournament on Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Jasper, Texas. The win advanced the team to the 2017 High School Fishing National championship, held June 27-July 1 at Pickwick Lake in Florence, Alabama.

For finishing atop the massive field of 230 boats, Schroeder took home the top award of $9,000 for his win.

For his win, Knight earned $4,475 and a berth into the 2017 BFL All-American Championship.

Fisher’s three-day total of 15 bass weighing 40 pounds, 4 ounces, earned him $50,200 and a coveted spot in the 2017 Forrest Wood Cup, the world championship of bass fishing.

Nixon earned $65,000 for his victory, including a new Ranger Z518C boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard, and a berth into the 2017 BFL All-American Championship.
