Former AOY Suffers Heart Attack
(May. 27, 2014 - MINNEAPOLIS,MN) Three-time FLW Angler of the Year winner Clark Wendlandt from Leander, Texas has withdrawn from next week's Walmart FLW Tour event at Pickwick Lake after suffering a heart attack on Monday. Wendlandt is currently at St. Mary's Hospital in downtown Knoxville and anticipates being released Thursday evening or Friday morning.

He will undergo surgery on his tonsils Thursday and doctors will then determine what sort of treatments he'll require going forward.

Mark Daniels Jr. of Fairfield, Calif., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 26 pounds, 12 ounces Saturday to win the Rayovac FLW Series Western Division event on the California Delta presented by Mercury with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 72 pounds, 7 ounces.
