César Pecellín Muñoz of Spain Signs Exclusive Licensing Agreement to Run FLW Bass-Fishing Tournaments
(Jan 18, 2018 - Minneapolis, MN) Fishing League Worldwide (FLW), the world’s largest tournament-fishing organization, announced today that Spain has signed an exclusive licensing agreement and will begin offering anglers the opportunity to compete in FLW-sanctioned bass fishing tournaments in 2018. The agreement was signed by FLW President of Operations Kathy Fennel and César Pecellín Muñoz of FLW Spain.

(Jan 15, 2018 - Lake Wales, FL) Boater Robert Crosnoe of Inverness, Florida, caught a five-bass limit weighing 18 pounds, 7 ounces, Saturday to win the 2018 T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Gator Division opener on the Kissimmee River. Crosnoe pocketed $4,920 for his victory.


Anglers win Triton 189TRX with 150-horsepower Mercury outboard

Harold Allen, of Shelbyville, Texas, and Matt Loetscher, of Many, Louisiana, weighed 28.74 pounds to win the first regular-season event of the Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela's (TXTT) on January 13 on Toledo Bend Reservoir. The winning anglers won a brand-new Triton 189TRX with a 150-horsepower Mercury outboard, valued at $31,495.

Boater Kevin Powers of Unicoi, Tennessee, caught a two-day cumulative total of 10 bass weighing 32 pounds, 9 ounces, to win the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Wild Card event on Kentucky and Barkley lakes. For his efforts, Powers earned $4,373 and one of the final entries into the 2018 BFL All-American Championship.

Foster’s two-day total of nine bass weighing 33-6 gives him a slim 1-pound, 13-ounce, advantage over second-place boater Larry Stoafer of Leavenworth, Kansas, heading into the third and final day of competition.

Boater Eric Sanders of Lexington, Kentucky, caught a three-day cumulative total of 12 bass weighing 33 pounds, 10 ounces, to win the T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional event on the Barren River presented by Lowrance. Sanders earned $65,000 for his efforts, including a new Ranger Z518C boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude outboard and automatic entry into the 2018 BFL All-American Championship.
