(Dec. 07, 2013 - OKEECHOBEE, FL.) Chad Morgenthaler of Coulterville, Ill., is the 56th and last angler to qualify for the 2014 Bassmaster Classic on Alabama's Lake Guntersville, Feb. 21-23. He entered the final round of the Bassmaster Classic Wild Card presented by Star Tron trailing Alabama's Shaye Baker by almost 6 pounds. Baker led the tournament for each of the first two days, but faltered in the finals.


(Dec. 06, 2013 - OKEECHOBEE, FL.) Alabama's Shaye Baker didn't just hold on at the Bassmaster Classic Wild Card presented by Star Tron, he increased his lead over the other 48 competitors. After tallying a limit weighing 29 pounds, 8 ounces on the first day, Baker was back with 19-6 on Day 2 for a total of 48-14.


(Dec. 05, 2013 - OkEECHOBEE, FL.) Alabama's Shaye Baker picked a good day to catch the biggest bass and biggest five-bass limit of his life. The young pro's catch totaled 29 pounds, 8 ounces, and his best largemouth weighed 9-1 to give him a 4 1/2-pound lead over fellow Alabaman and Bassmaster Elite Series pro Russ Lane at the Bassmaster Classic Wild Card presented by Star Tron.

(Nov. 26, 2013 - SAN ANTONIO, TX) After a national search, and review of over 120 college applicants, Fenwick has selected the 2014 Fenwick Collegiate Pro Team. (Oct. 23, 2013 - LAVONIA, GA.) Brad Fowler of Pendleton, S.C., won the Walmart Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional on Lake Hartwell with a three-day total of 15 bass totaling 34 pounds, 15 ounces. For his victory, Fowler won a Ranger Z518 with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard plus a Chevy 1500 Silverado and entry into the BFL All-American presented by Chevy. This regional tournament featured the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from each of the Bama, Bulldog, Piedmont and Volunteer divisions.

Toby Corn of West Frankfort Ill., won the Walmart Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional on Kentucky Lake with a three-day total of 15 bass totaling 65 pounds, 6 ounces. For his victory, Corn won a Ranger Z518 with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard plus a Chevy 1500 Silverado and entry into the BFL All-American presented by Chevy. This regional tournament featured the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from each of the Great Lakes, Hoosier, Illini and Mississippi divisions.

(Oct. 23, 2013 - POTTSBORO, TX) Jeff Reynolds of Calera, Okla., won the Walmart Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional on Lake Texoma with a three-day total of 15 bass totaling 42 pounds, 2 ounces. For his victory, Reynolds won a Ranger Z518 with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard plus a Chevy 1500 Silverado and entry into the BFL All-American presented by Chevy. This regional tournament featured the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from each of the Arkie, Cowboy, Okie and Ozark divisions.


(Oct. 21, 2013 - Lake Maumelle & Arkansas River, AR) The Championship tournament for Super Team opened with rain and a 25 mph wind at Lake Maumelle and a beautiful fall day on Arkansas River. The 34 Teams caught 313fish weighing 524.1 with 25/10 fish two day limits.

(Oct. 16, 2013 - Calcium NY) On October 12-13th The Bass Federation (TBF) held their annual State Team Qualifier (STQ) tournament on Lake Champlain with their base of operations out of Port Henry. Weather conditions were stable for three days leading into the event to include day one. However, day two the big lake showed her colors as Mother Nature produced sustained SSE winds of 8-15 mph.

Bill Wilcox, of Burleson, Texas, and Gib Coats, of Fort Worth, Texas, brought 48.56 pounds of bass to the scales to win the two-day championship event of the Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela's (TXTT) on Oct. 13 at Falcon Lake. The winning anglers took home a brand new, fully rigged Ranger Z119C boat powered by an Evinrude outboard, valued at $45,000.

Ray wins co-angler title
(Oct. 12, 2013 - LAKEPORT, CA.) Jody Jordan of Vacaville, Calif., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 28 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday to win the EverStart Series Western Division event presented by Mercury Marine on Clear Lake with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 81 pounds, 1 ounce. For his victory, Jordan earned $28,958 and a Ranger Z518 with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard motor.

BQ cook-off, kids' zone and off-road test tracks highlight weekend

Iowa duo win Crappie Masters event with 27.83 pounds of Crappie
(Oct. 01, 2013 - COLUMBIA, S.C.) Diversity is key to any fishermen, but Tommy Skarlis is taking it to another level, adding 2013 Crappie Master National Champion to his resume. The Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters National Championship took place this past weekend Grenada Lake and featured two Iowa residents that claimed the title. Weighing in 27.83 of crappie, Skarlis and teammate Kyle Steinfeldt took home the top honors, beating the nearest competitors by over two pounds.

(Sep. 24, 2013 - GILBERTSVILLE, KY.) Brent Anderson of Kingston Springs, Tenn., weighed in a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 43 pounds, 9 ounces Sunday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League LBL Division super tournament on Kentucky and Barkley lakes. For his victory, Anderson earned $5,517.

(Sep. 24, 2013 - ROCKWOOD,TN) Brian Hazel of Clinton, Tenn., weighed in a two-day total of 10 bass totaling 30 pounds, 14 ounces Sunday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Volunteer Division super tournament on Watts Bar Lake. For his victory, Hazel earned $4,268.

Anglers took home $2,000 and other prizes in winner-take-all challenge between FLW and BoatUS collegiate qualifiers.
