(Oct 23, 2016 - St. Lawrence River, NY) The NYTBF State Championship was held on October 1 and 2, 2016 on the St Lawrence River out of the Clayton Town Ramp. The event was hosted by the Village of Clayton and the Clayton Chamber of Commerce. The weigh-in took place on the grounds of the Antique Boat Museum. Anglers were greeted with beautiful conditions both days. Norma Zimmer was on hand to present the awards to the anglers.

 Seven-year FLW Tour veteran James Watson of Nixa, Missouri, who started the day in second place, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Friday weighing 13 pounds, 4 ounces to take the lead with a two-day total of 26-14.

Right behind him in second place is Tour veteran James Watson of Nixa, Missouri, who weighed in five bass totaling 13-10.

The event was hosted by the New York Bass Federation (NYTBF) and started with the registration, meeting, and banquet at the Best Western in Ticonderoga.

Chris Aswegan of Tiffin, Iowa, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 14 pounds even Saturday to win the FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional event on Kentucky and Barkley lakes presented by Mercury, with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 47 pounds, 4 ounces. For his win, Aswegan earned $65,200, including a new Ranger Z518C boat with a 200-horsepower Mercury outboard, and a berth into the 2017 BFL All-American Championship.

(Oct 19, 2016 - BAINBRIDGE, Ga) Marshall Deakins of Dunlap, Tennessee, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 17 pounds, 13 ounces, Saturday to take top honors at the FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional event on Lake Seminole presented by Mercury, with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 50 pounds, 1 ounce. For his win, Deakins took home $66,000, including a new Ranger Z518C boat with a 200-horsepower Mercury outboard, and a berth into the 2017 BFL All-American Championship.

AQ 2016 Houston Individual Championship
(Oct 12, 2016 - Houston County Lake, TX) John Littleton led day one with a 5 fish limit of 16.23 lbs., and came in day 2 with another limit weighing 8.96 lbs., (25.19 two day total). That was enough to take the win !!! John also caught the biggest bass of the tournament, a nice 3.98 lb'er. Total take home for John Littleton was $2060.00...


(Oct 8, 2016 - Monroe, LA) The hometown University of Louisiana-Monroe team of Tyler Stewart and Nicholas Joiner, both of West Monroe, Louisiana, won the FLW College Fishing Southern Conference event on the Ouachita River Saturday with five bass weighing 16 pounds, 9 ounces. The victory earned the club $2,000 and advanced the team to the 2017 FLW College Fishing National Championship.

Derek Jenkel of Pinckneyville, Illinois, weighed in five bass totaling 18 pounds, 3 ounces, Saturday to win the Costa FLW Series Central Division finale on Lake of the Ozarks presented by Evinrude with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 52 pounds, 5 ounces. For his win, Jenkel took home $35,815.
