Opportunities to participate in show are still available

(Apr. 22, 2004 - CHICAGO, IL) The exhibit floor at the Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show (MAATS) is officially sold out. Nearly 300 companies will fill more than 440 booths, covering 35,320 square feet at the show, being held July 8-11 at the Las Vegas Hilton (S.T.E.P. dates run July 7-8). Although show floor space is filled, there are still opportunities for companies to present their new products to the largest annual gathering of buyers in the industry. The MAATS Marketplace allows companies to get their foot in the door, by displaying one product with literature in an attractive display near the entrance of the exhibit floor. In addition to the floor display, new products also receive recognition through the MAATS website and in the show directory. Companies participating in the MAATS Marketplace are also eligible to enter their product, provided it meets the requirements, into the NMMA Innovation Awards program for an additional fee. Companies unable to exhibit or participate in the MAATS Marketplace are also allowed to participate in the New Product Preview program. For an extra fee, non-exhibitors can reserve a five-minute presentation to introduce their new product(s) to a group of more than 120 invited buyers. "The accessories aftermarket has supported MAATS from the beginning, and the event continues to grow," says MAATS project manager Kathleen Clickett. "In 2005, we will be moving the show portion of the event to the Las Vegas Convention Center to accommodate the demand, and we encourage interested companies to contact NMMA to be added to the waiting list for space at next year's show."
