Hodgman Aesis Sonic WadeLite Jacket Now Available

by: Kevin Jarnagin, Blue Heron Communications

(Feb 22, 2016 - Columbia, SC) An angler needs to be comfortable while on the water in order to maintain focus. In order to do so, anglers can now purchase the Hodgman® Aesis™ Sonic WadeLite jacket. These jackets are keen on features that give anglers staying power in any situation.

"The Aesis Sonic WadeLite jacket is extremely popular among our field testers," said Chris Derrick, Hodgman Brand Business Manager. "It really has been a favorite of the group be

cause it is so lightweight, breathable and packs away nicely for rainy fishing trips."

With weather patterns constantly changing like the wind, the spring lineup from Hodgman utilizes VTecH™ construction on the Aesis WadeLite jackets. The breathable hydrophilic Vapor Transfer Technology, VTecH, is both waterproof and windproof, allowing anglers the ability to withstand the heaviest of downpours without missing a cast.

"This jacket feels as light as two-layer system," said Derrick. "...However the fabric is actually three-layer.  We protect the breathable laminate with a cloud-mesh backer providing a much more durable construction than 2-layer shell jackets."

The extreme lightweight designed WadeLite jacket has a durable three-layer mini rip-stop fabric construction with Sonic 2.0 seams.  The Sonic 2.0 technology utilizes a double ultra-sonic weld, reinforced with waterproof seam tape for added strength without the use of stitch holes.

Perforated laser cut arm vents allow for added ventilation, keeping anglers cool during those warm afternoons on the creek. Also the cuffs seal nicely preventing water from quickly flowing up an angler's sleeve when releasing a fish.

The Hodgman Aesis spring jackets have an MSRP of $179.95 and are available now.
