Eighteen individuals came out to fish the First of eight Rayburn Individual Tournaments on Big Sam Rayburn. It was a little chilly, but the fish were biting for some.
Tommy Hill came in first fishing out of his Bullet / Mercury rig (that happens to be for sale if your interested contact Tommy ) he weighed in 5 fish that tipped the scale for 22.01 LBS. He also caught the biggest bass of the day, a nice 6.14 lb'er. Mr. Hill took home a total of $560.00 for his first place win and big bass.
Clayton Boulware came in a close second with 21.82 lbs. Clayton reported catching his limit on 6" Quakes that were Rambo Red in color Clayton says he traveled 52 & 1/2 miles round trip to at least 25 different spots and caught over 20 keepers out of his Nitro / Mercury Rig. He won $275.00.
Randy Quin came in third with 5 that weighed 20.77 lbs., out of his new Phoenix. He won $185.00
