(Jul 13, 2017 - Santa Rosa, CA.)  Gnarly rapids, mosquitoes clouding the launch ramp, crafty fish that don’t fight fair; there’s no lack of challenges for those pursuing their passions afloat. BUFF® just doesn’t want hand protection to be one of them.

For this reason, the pioneer of the original multifunctional headwear, offers a diverse and newly reimagined lineup of full and partial finger gloves for fishing and water sports with styles that’ll bolster your outdoors experience, no matter where you pursue it.

New BUFF® Elite Gloves

“We invented the tubular neckwear category 25 years ago and in 2018 we aim to re-invent the water glove category with a style for every angler and water sports enthusiast," says Shirley Brunetti, Buff, Inc. Vice President and General Manager.

Sparing no detail, BUFF® added several significant improvements to its glove lineup:
    •    Moved seams from the outside of the palm to the back to reduce chafing and wear.
    •    Added a second layer of fabric between the index finger and thumb to improve durability.
    •    Enhanced the sun protection factor.
Common to each style are bonded cuffs for chafe prevention and convenient pull tabs for easy on and off.

New BUFF® Elite Glove

“We tested and refined each of these gloves based on feedback from our elite ambassadors to make sure that these are the longest-lasting, most comfortable and highest performance water gloves you’ll find anywhere.”, says Markus Hutnak, Buff, Inc. Product Development Manager.

Leading the BUFF® glove lineup are the highly advanced Elite Gloves, which feature a three-quarter-finger length for protection with fingertip dexterity, odor-fighting anti-microbial fabric with UPF 50+ sun protection and a tough synthetic suede palm that repels water and dries quickly. Also, an abrasion-resistant film in high-wear areas reduces blisters and cuts while improving grip.

Other models in the 2018 BUFF® glove family include:

Eclipse Glove - Built for salt or freshwater performance, this three-quarter-finger style features a silicone dot pattern and abrasion-resistant film on the palm for maximum grip with minimal wear. An articulated pattern reduces hand fatigue and bonded abrasion overlay eliminates line catching.

FullFlex Glove - Boating and fishing in cold weather takes a toll on the hands, but these gloves feature brushed fabric interiors for a soft, warm fit with superior sun protection. Wrapped silicone palms improv grip, while full-finger length with touchscreen compatible index finger means you won’t have to expose your hand for mobile device use.

Aqua Glove - Quick drying and breathable with all-over silicone palms for optimal grip, these extremely versatile gloves are a fisherman’s best friend. Protecting your hands from sun, surf, chafing and cuts, while the anti-microbial fabric wards off those unpleasant odors.

Solar Glove - A great choice for the kayak, paddleboard, waverunner or fishing boat; BUFF®’s lightest-weight glove features a comfortable and breathable half-finger style with UPF 40+ sun protection. Quick drying and durable, this glove is a great choice for fun in the sun.
