ADVANCE AUTO PARTS CONTINUES ASSOCIATION WITH BASS

Premier Sponsor Exclusive Auto Parts Store of BASS

Advance Auto Parts, Inc., a leading retailer of aftermarket parts, accessories, batteries and maintenance items, and BASS, the worldwide authority on bass fishing, today announced a multi-year agreement.

“We are excited about our continued involvement with the sport of bass fishing,” said Samuel R. Hampton, director of marketing for Advance. “Our goal is to become the preferred auto parts store of the bass fishing community and outdoor industry.”

BASS and Advance worked closely together to develop an integrated platform that will resonate with members and fans. It includes:

Bassmaster Majors/Elite Series: Signage and booth presence at select Bassmaster Elite Series events. Advance will also serve as the exclusive presenting sponsor of the Bassmaster American and the Bassmaster Elite Series Blue Ridge Brawl in 2007.

Federation Nation: Supporting sponsor of the Federation Nation including presence at the Federation Nation National Championship.

BASS Conservation: Supporting sponsor of BASS Conservation initiatives including establishment of grants and projects

BASS Youth: Representation at CastingKids events and supporting sponsorship of the Junior World Bassmaster Championship

Women’s Bassmaster Tour: Advance will also serve as a supporting sponsor of the WBT.

Additionally, Advance will also continue to air new television spots during ESPN Outdoors programming on ESPN2. The “Advance Know-How, Presented by Advance Auto Parts” mini-shows focus on tips and techniques from the fulltime Advance Auto Parts BASS Pro Team.

The Advance Auto Parts BASS Pro Team will consist of three accomplished Bassmaster Elite Series anglers: 2004 Bassmaster Angler of the Year Gerald Swindle, two-time BASS winner Marty Stone and three-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier John Crews. Sponsorship of the anglers has been elevated from an associate status to a primary sponsorship.
