But that didn’t keep the 16 Individuals from coming out to fish the 4th Anglers Quest Individual event on Lake Houston….. With the families of those involved in the boating accident heavy on our hearts and minds, take off was at 6:25 am with the wind blowing gust of up to 15+ mph….
Sandro Alfaro of Hull came in first place with 5 fish weighing 14.93lbs…Sandro fished out of his Bass Cat / Mercury rig and reported catching most of his fish flippin a variety of different baits, and using drop shots, shaky heads, frogs and some crank baits. he reported fishing from literally one end of the lake to the other… He won $410.00 for his day on the water…. Way to go Sandro !!!!
Craig Austin of Humble, came in second with his 5 bass weighing 13.66lbs. Craig fished out of his Bass Cat / Mercury rig and reported catching his limit out of the Bayou in 4-6 ft of water on crank baits and frogs. Craig won $250.00 for his day on the water… ( not bad for a $75.00 entry fee )…..
And Third place was held by Randy Quin of Huffman. He fished out of his new Phoenix / Mercury rig and won $165.00 for his time on the water today.
Curtis Jordan caught the biggest bass of the day, a nice 3.85 lb’er.. he won $75.00 for that one bite !!!
To all “my Fishermen” THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!! Some of you guys have fished with me for years, and some are just starting to fish Anglers Quest. I appreciate each and every one of you !!!
