Richland Chambers Recap
A tournament on Richland Chambers always proves to be a worry. Strong storms pounded the lake the night before the tournament. The fishing was already slow and the storms made the fishing even worse. We were thankful however, that the storms cleared out by dawn. Despite the weather and the slow fishing everyone still had great time just being together. The trailering option worked well, about half of the couples trailered. Here is the summary:

The next tournament is Cedar Creek on April 9. The launch ramp is Cedar Creek Landing. Hotel rooms have been set aside at Country Side Inn in Malakoff, Hwy. 31, ph# 903-489-0400. We have 15 rooms reserved, when you make the reservation be sure to tell them youre with C.A.S.T.
Hotel rooms for Lake Whitney have been reserved at the Best Western (ph# 254-582-8465) in Hillsboro. We will have to turn back any rooms not taken on May 21 due to Best Westerns cancellation policy. So make your reservations before May 21.
Registration for the Cedar Creek tournament is from 4-5 p.m. in our room at the Country Side Inn on Saturday, April 8 and Sunday morning before the tournament at Cedar Creek Landing store.
C.A.S.T. shirt orders are due on April 9 (Cedar Creek tournament). You can mail the order from to us if you do not plan to fish Cedar Creek. I will place the order on April 10. We can expect delivery in 3 weeks.
