The 2 of Us Couples Tournament Central Division had our fourth tournament of 2012 on Lake Waco this past Saturday, April 28th out of the Lacy ramp. We were in for a surprise right up front when we arrived at the Speegleville ramp, the ramp also had another tournament going out, a BIG open tournament. Our group made a decision to avoid the crowd and move to another ramp, we moved over to Lacy. When we arrived to the other ramp, yes you guessed it, a CRAPPIE tournament was in place. But at least this tournament left parking room at the ramp!
We had a total of 11 couple’s fish this wind blown tournament. It was a beautiful day! But the wind was high. There were a total of 9 fish caught and a total of 16.78 lbs were released. With the 11 teams fishing on this day we saw, Wayne & Marilyn Lilljedahl taking top honors with 10.41 with 5 fish. Taking second we had Tom & JoAnn Flanary with 2 fish at 2.78. Men’s big bass went to Glenn Wilson with 2.09 and overall big bass and Ladies Big Bass went to Marilyn Lilljedahl with a NICE 4.25 Large mouth.
