63 teams competed in this year’s Central Wisconsin River Series tour presented by Minn Kota, Humminbird and The Stevens Point Brewery.
Clair and Raffe Hulce took top honors this year in the 4 event tour! They anchored a great season with two wins out of four events!
They will be honored at the Awards dinner Friday September 9th. This kicks off the year end Championship where they will certainly be the team to beat!
“The team of Clair and Raffe Hulce came out on top in the Team of year points, This year the race for Team of The Year ended up not being a close race as it has in the past- The top team won by nearly 60 points! “Said Tournament Director Mike Hofmann. “BUT it all came down to the last fish weighed this season! Clair and Raffe won the last event with a large margin of victory.”
35 teams qualified for the challenging two-day Championship to be held September 10th and 11th on the Rhinelander Flowage. The event is being hosted by the Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce. The weigh-in will be held at Hodag Park each day of the Championship and will start at 3 p.m. The public is invited to attend
The Wisconsin River Series presented by Minnkota, Humminbird and the Stevens Point Brewery is managed and run for the anglers by the TBF affiliated club. The Park city Bass Anglers from Merrill Wisconsin.
