Anglers Quest Rayburn Individual Championship
Clayton came in first place in the Anglers Quest Rayburn Individual Championship. His two day total was 10 fish weighing 38.83 lbs. Clayton reported catching his fish mid lake Saturday all in 6 casts on Fat Free Shad, he did catch one on a BooYah Pop & Pad Crasher. And on Sunday on a Crank Bait and a Stanley Top Toad. He said he traveled about 40 miles a day all over the mid lake areas. Clayton also caught the biggest bass of the weekend, a nice 6.45 lb’er. He won a total of $1,475.00. Mr. Boulware would like to thank his sponsors: Prado, West Bros. Ltd., Tracker Boating Center in Lufkin Texas, Stanley Jigs, Lews, Costa Del Mar and of course Nitro Boats & Mercury Motors.
Chris King came in second with a two day total of 20.68 lbs. Fishing out of his Ranger/Mercury rig he reported catching his fish Saturday on Yellow Magic and Missile Baits D-Bomb and on Sunday with the 6XD, Missile Baits D-Bomb, and also flipping in 4-20 feet of water… Chris would like to thank Missile Baits and Juiced Up Baits for they’re help.
I would also like to thank Mr. John Boykin & Jace Retherford for particpating this weekend they received brand new weigh bags and a couple of Rattle Traps. And a great BIG shout out to Keith White my Rayburn weigh master and Mrs. Kathy DeSpain my right hand, without there help I could not function….I hope they know how much I appreciate them!!!
