From developing the film, Currents of Belize, about the rapidly changing Belizean coastline and the people who cherish it most, to partnering in a five-year permit tagging initiative in Florida with the Bonefish Tarpon Trust, Costa works to raise awareness about jeopardized fish habitats and spark conservation efforts as a result.

The Watery Rave will also look for epic fishing adventures taking place around the world, like when Costa pro Chris Fischer and his Ocean crew set out in the Pacific to tag and release 4,000 pound great white sharks to ollect crucial scientific research about the fish population. From Guyana, South America, to Labrador, New Foundland, Costa plans to chronicle new conservation adventures, as well as look to The Watery Rave’s readers to share their own stories.
