Our 5th tournament of the year was at Chotard Landing on July 11th. We had 7 couples to fish with 7 fish caught and total weight of 16.24 lb. All fish were released alive.
Cynthia and Mike Norsworthy came in first for the second time in a row with 5.78 lb. and caught the big bass of the day that weighed 4.26 lb. Lisa Bacon and Ron Fears come in second with 4.81 lb.
As you can see from the weights that it was a rough day of fishing for all our couples. It was a hot and sunny day, but the river was up and the fishing down. There were alot of fish caught but they were stripers, gar and grinnael and as you know they don’t count in a tournament.
All in all we had a good time and thinks to Tac Caruther and Keith Courtney we had a good fish fry. Everyone loves going to Chotard because we can all get together and have alot of fun.
