Diffee Wins Bass Fishing League Okie Division Event on Grand Lake

WHAT:Wayne Diffee of Oakhurst, Okla., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 19 pounds, 9 ounces Saturday, June 5, 2010 to win $4,199 in the FLW BFL Okie Division tournament on Grand Lake. On a hot and sunny day Diffee was using crankbaits in shallow water near Duck Creek to bag his limit.

WHAT:Damon Duncan of Kansas, Okla., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 17 pounds, 13 ounces Saturday, June 5, 2010 to win $2,100 in the FLW BFL Okie Co-angler Division on Grand Lake. Duncan was fishing mid lake in 5-12 foot depths with Mad Cow and Elk River jigs to sack his limit.

NOTES:The next BFL Okie Division tournament is scheduled for June 26, at the Arkansas River in Muskogee, Okla. After the fifth Okie Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Lake Texoma in Denison, Texas., on Oct. 14-16 for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
