Fishing Muddy Waters

This seems obvious, but fishing muddy water is the exact opposite from fishing in clear water. Fish differently. You want to let the fish have time to see your bait. Use bigger baits, slow them down and pick brighter colors. If you fish with slow moving bait you want to use darker colors, including black. Faster moving baits, like crank baits, spinner baits, competitive fire tigers, and shark shrews, and black back. Brighter, flashier colors work well with this style of fishing.By: Walker Agency
