Lake Livingston -3rd Team
It was a chilly day out on the water. But there were 31 Teams that braved the winds to fish the 3rd Anglers Quest team event of the year on Lake Livingston.
The team of Bradley Fleming & Troy Harrel came in first place with 5 bass tipping the scales at 18.97 lbs. Bradley reported catching their fish out of his Nitro Z-7/Mercury rig, in Kick-a-poo creek. All of their fish were caught in less than 3 feet of water on Strike King green /pumpkin Game Hogs. This team took home the 1st place check for $2,300.00.
The second place team was father and son, Jody Rhoden & Frank Rhoden. They brought 5 fish to the scales that weighed 16.85 lbs., and won $1,150.00 for their day on the water.
Sandro Alfaro & Chris Bush came in 3rd with 5 weighing 16.48 lbs. They fished out of Chris’s BassCat/Mercury rig catching their fish north in 2 ft. of water on Brush Hogs. They won $580.00 for their efforts. Sandro would like to thank his sponsors Bimini Bay Outfitters, Saltlife Optics for their support.
Wade Ellis & Kevin Mason came in 4th place with their limit weighing 16.36lbs. Wade reported catching them mid-lake out of his Nitro/ Mercury rig in 2 feet of water on plastics, spinner-baits and frogs. They had the big bass of the day, a 4.74 lb’er that Wade said was caught on plastic. They took home a total of $540.00 for their day on the water. And Wade wanted to thank Quality Marine & Strike King lures for their support.
Jeremy Francis & Justin Lackey came in 5th with 5 that weighed 15.88 lbs. They won $275.00 for their day on the Lake.
The last place money was held by Kurt Luker & John Coleman. They had 5 that tipped the scales at 15.49 lbs., and that got them a check for $220.00.
I would like to Thank ALL of the Fishermen who come out and support Anglers Quest. I know there are a lot of different tournaments out their for you to fish, and I appreciate you choosing to fish with me.
