Tune in May 23 to “FLW Outdoors” television to watch the nail-biting conclusion of the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League All-American on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Ark., that took place April 17. The event’s field of 43 anglers was narrowed to 10 for the final day of fishing, after which boater Allen Hayes of Moody, Ala., claimed the title and $100,000 cash.
The show will feature interviews with the top contenders as they fish on the final day. The 2004 All-American had the closest finish in the history of the event when Hayes edged out Wal-Mart FLW Tour pro Dave Lefebre of Erie, Pa., by a mere 2 ounces. Hayes landed a three-day total weight of 31 pounds to take home the top prize.
