Frogg Toggs Presents Oh Boy! Oberto Redfish Cup on ESPN2

Rain won’t get fishermen down this season on the Oh Boy! Oberto Redfish Cup. That’s because Frogg Toggs, America¹s leading waterproof, breathable affordable raingear and The Redfish Nation announced today that the Alabama company has signed a multi-year agreement to be presenting sponsor of the world’s most lucrative and visible redfish tournament circuit-The Oh Boy! Oberto Redfish Cup on ESPN2.

The three year presenting sponsorship agreement provides a rich marketing platform for Frogg Toggs that includes television commercials in all Redfish Cup telecasts on ESPN2, print advertising within Redfish Nation Magazine, prominent online positioning at RedfishNation.com and a host of on-site activation and direct marketing opportunities to Redfish Nation members in more than 20 states.  Frogg Toggs will also launch a line of officially licensed raingear carrying the Oh Boy! Oberto Redfish Cup shield beginning this spring.

“The Oh Boy! Oberto Redfish Cup is the top of the food chain when it comes to redfishing” said Frogg Toggs president Will Fowler.  “Being presenting sponsor of the sport’s premiere circuit gives us a great opportunity to showcase not only the dependable raingear that has made us famous but several new Frogg Toggs innovations that we have in production.”

“Frogg Toggs is must-have gear for coastal anglers from Texas to the Carolinas, but it is also a company with a strong tradition in the outdoors and an aggressive approach to marketing” said David Healy of The Redfish Nation. “I have no doubt Frogg Toggs will have a positive impact on the sport as a whole and the Cup in particular.”

Founded in 1996, Frogg Toggs has been a pioneer in the use of microporous polypropylene fabrics and manufactures a complete line of 100 % waterproof, windproof, breathable outerwear, including its signature rain suits, pants and bibs.

The Oh Boy! Oberto Redfish Cup begins its third season May 12-14 in Mobile, Alabama.  The series features up to 130 of the sport’s best two-man teams as they compete at 6 events for a guaranteed cash purse of more than $750,000.  All events will be broadcast to more than 87 million households on ESPN2 beginning in January of 2006.

The Oh Boy! Oberto Redfish Cup is owned and operated by Redfish Nation, LLC. of Little Rock, Arkansas and sponsored by Oh Boy! Oberto Beef Jerky, Frogg Toggs Outerwear, Triton Boats, Mercury Marine, Lowrance Electronics, Falcon Rods, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Berkley Trilene, XTOOLS, Motorguide, Nemire Lures and Hook & Tackle Outfitters.
