Full Coverage Of Wal-Mart FLW Tour’s Final Regular Season Stop To Air On FLW Outdoors, TV

This week on “FLW Outdoors” television, 175 of the world’s top anglers compete on Alabama’s Wheeler Lake for the $200,000 first prize in the Forrest Wood Open, the sixth and final regular-season event on the Wal-Mart FLW Tour. Co-hosts Carlton Wing and Taylor Carr provide extensive coverage of the top 10 finalists, including champion Aaron Martens of Castaic, Calif.; Chevrolet pros Kevin VanDam of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Tommy Biffle of Wagoner, Okla.; local favorite Tim Horton of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; and Stanley pro Scott Martin of Clewiston, Fla.

The dramatic shoot-out style of the weigh-in provides numerous lead changes that end with the top two anglers battling it out for the big check.

This week’s program also chronicles Land O’Lakes Angler of the Year Dan Morehead’s bid for the coveted title. The Paducah, Ky., resident faced stiff competition throughout the season – and in particular at the Forrest Wood Open – in the race for the title.

The Outdoor Life Network broadcasts “FLW Outdoors” every Saturday from 7 to 8 p.m. and again Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. Eastern time. Check local listings for show times and channels in your area.
