Smallest of G3 Sun Catcher Pontoons Introduced
G3 Boats has expanded its popular pontoon boat series. The three models introduced just last year are joined by four new
crafts including the PB18F, a fishing model that’s compact and carries the new G3 pontoon Sun Catcher logo.
Comfort and convenience are like trademarks on all G3 Sun Catcher pontoons and the smaller PB18F is no exception. Whether for family outings or serious crappie marathons, this pontoon fits the bill. All G3 Sun Catcher pontoon boats are built around an 8 1/2-foot beam, providing the widest deck on any of today’s pontoons.
Fishing features on the new Sun Catcher PB18F include extra large lockable storage with 8-foot rod holders behind the couch, 18-ounce marine grade snag-resistant carpet for a quiet deck, two deluxe upholstered fishing chairs and pedestals, livewell and trolling motor wiring.
For convenience, there’s an under deck performance shield, Yamaha binnacle controls, Yamaha steering cables, heavy duty deck extrusions on 16-inch centers, navigational lights, fire extinguisher, horn, splash guards and a fiberglass console with windshield. Beaching on sandy shorelines for an afternoon break is no problem on Sun Catcher pontoon boats. The 21-inch by 23-inch logs on the PB18F are built with .072 gauge pontoons and .080 gauge nosecones.
Comfort is not forgotten on the PB18F with such standard features as roto-molded furniture, cup holders, color-coordinated Bimini top, AM/FM cassette stereo with dual speakers and courtesy lights. The PB18F is rated for 70 horsepower and two portable 12-gallon fuel tanks provide hours of performance between fuel stops.
Like all G3 boats, Sun Catcher pontoon boats are powered by Yamaha outboard engines. Buyers of a G3 boat, motor and trailer package also receive the G3 advantage package that includes free resident fishing licenses for the buyer for three years.
