G3 Boats expand the use of pontoon boats, those big deck cruisers with home-style luxuries built in, with the introduction of the new PB20F, a fishing version of the family’s pontoon boat. Added to the comfort and safety found on the other G3 pontoon boats are fishing features making the PB20F function like a mobile fishing dock. Fishing features found on the PB20F include four deluxe upholstered fishing chairs and pedestals, forward and aft aerated livewells, wiring and plug for a 12-volt trolling motor and rod holders. Family features include large Bimini top for sun and rain protection, comfortable Roto-molded furniture, an ABS table with 2/cup holders and a cooler with storage. Other standard features include AM/FM cassette stereo with two speakers and two -12 volt accessory outlets.
Piloting the PB20F is safe and simple with Yamaha controls, premium cables, tilt steering, sliding helm seat and protective windshield. The console also features full instrumentation including speed, tach, trim, fuel and voltage gauges.
The PB20F is rated for Yamaha outboards up to 90 horsepower. The 23-gallon built in fuel tank provides ample range for weekend outings. Safety is not overlooked with Coast Guard approved fire extinguisher and horn included in the standard package making this craft lake ready. Lights on the PB20F satisfy docking, courtesy and navigational needs. Like all G3 aluminum crafts, the PB20F pontoon is built tough and durable to support family outings for years. With .080 gauge pontoons and .100 gauge nosecones, the 23-inch by 25-inch logs can withstand the rigors of docking in the shallows of those favorite swimming beaches. The 96-inch beam floor, covered with the choice of sand or green carpet, is through-bolt constructed with heavy-duty “Z” brackets. Nothing is overlooked in this G3 package. The PB24C pontoon boat is easily transported to and from the lake on an optional G3 trailer that offers tandem axle with surge brakes, spare tire and wheel and mooring cover. Trailer and spare tire wheel options also include a galvanized upgrade.
