AQ Houston Team #3
Twenty-three teams came out to fish the AQ team event Saturday, March 12th. Nine limits, and a total of 167.82 lbs of fish were brought to the scales.
Greg Crawford & Lee LaCour came in first place with a 5 fish limit weighing 15.32 lbs. They won a total of $1,760.00 for their day on the water.
The AQ Anglers of the Year, Dean Coleman & Jimmy Emmons Jr. came in second with 5 that tipped the scales at 13.83lbs., and they won $880.00 for their efforts.
The team of Kary Essl & Danny StAndrie came in third with their limit weighing 13.46 lbs. The third place check was $525.00. Kary reported catching most of their fish flipping flooded cover on Tsunami plastics & Santone spinner baits. They want to send a special thanks out to thier Sponsors, Bimini Bay Outfitters, Saltlife Optics, Mercury Pro Team, Hook-Spit Nation, Seaguar, Toyota, Bowden Marine & Mustand.
Larry Cotten & Clint May came in fourth with 5 weighing 13.26 lbs. They took home $350.00 for their day on the water.
And the Biggest bass of the day was caught by the fifth place team of John Littleton & Adam Boyd. They won $200.00 for that one bite.
