The fourth tournament for Arkansas’s Super Team was clear sunny with highs in the 80’s. With water temps mid 60’s 63 teams managed to catch 254 bass weighing 682.26lbs with 40/ 5 fish limits with 56 teams weighing fish.
The team of Terry Hopson and Teddy Bogard bested the field with 20.54 earning them $5000. They used Zoom horny toads and a green jig and frog combo to bag their limit with a 6.50 big bass earning them $720 more.
Second place was the father-son team of Mitch Miller Sr and Mitch Miller Jr with 19.45 also using Carolina Rigged lizard on main river rocks. They earned $1100 for their efforts.
Third was Billy McCaghren and Brent Stallings with 17.49 lbs.
Second lunker was a 6.34 lb bass caught by Doug Taylor and Mark Harrison to earn them $480.
The next Arkansas Super Team tournament will be July 10 on Lake Dardanelle at Russellville State Park in Russellville, Ar.
