Ittner Accepts Post with Yamaha Marine Group

Yamaha Marine Group, a division of Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., is pleased to announce that David Ittner has joined its marketing team in Kennesaw, Ga.

Ittner, who has over 16 years of experience in marketing and promotions, will assume the role of Manager of Tournaments and Prostaff. He will oversee a staff of three and work to raise the profile of Yamaha’s fishing tournament activities.

The company recently announced sponsorship of the bass fishing sanctioning organization BASS®. Yamaha also sponsors a variety of fresh and salt water fishing events sanctioned by FLW Outdoors® and has a large staff of professional anglers. In addition, the company recently launched a four-stoke outboard entry for the bass realm, the Yamaha F225 Sport Model, which will make its debut in competition this season.

Prior to joining Yamaha, Ittner was part of the marketing team for Lowrance®, a marine electronics brand of Navico®. He also spent a number of years in various marketing and sales positions with companies such as Texaco® and Dow Chemical®. Ittner, of Tulsa, Okla., will be relocating to Kennesaw, a suburb of Atlanta, within the next few weeks.
