Jody Norsworthy WINS with 34.87 lbs. for two days

Rayburn Individual Championship

Jody Norsworthy takes the WIN with a two day total of 34.87 lbs. Day one had left Jody in 3rd place with 18.40 lbs. But day 2 he brought 5 fish to the scales that weighed 20.07lbs. Jody reported catching his fish out of his Legend / Mercury boat / motor, north of the 147 bridge on points in 15-18 feet of water on plastics… Jody also caught the second biggest bass of the weekend a 5.31 lb’er and won a total of $1,685.00.

Glen Kimble was in second place on day 1 with 5 fish that went 18.97 lbs. And on day 2 he brought 5 more to the scales that weighed 14.82 lbs., giving him a two day total of 33.79 and that was enough to keep him inn second place winning $650.00. Mr. Kimble reported catching his fish out of his Skeeter / Yamaha rig Mid Lake, on a frog in 2 foot of shallow water. He would like to thank his beautiful wife Julie for all her support.

Mark Richard led day one with 19.71 lbs. But fell a little bit short on day 2 with 13.28 lbs., Winning a Play & Stay compliments of Rayburn Country. Mark fished out of his Triton / Mercury rig and reported catching his fish North of Hanks Creek marina on Buzz Baits until the sun came up over the trees, then he caught them flippin Black & Blue Big Bite Creature Baits, Flippin’ brush in less than 1 ft of water. Mark would like to thank Jasper Outboard for their support and a Special Thank You to Bill Rogers, Kevin Shivers and Gary Osborne for their help learning the north end of the Lake.

Charles Ford Caught the biggest Bass of the weenkend, a nice 7.77 lb’er., and on his Birthday no less…. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU SIR !!!!! Charles fished out of his Legend / Mercury rig and caught his fish way up north on an Old Monster Worm. Charles would like to thank Blake More Tackle, Daiichi Hooks, Bass Kandi, Kick-n-bass and Rod Armour.

 

Ya’ll look into fishing Anglers Quest in 2017. Come out and give these guys some competition. My name is Barbara Long and I’m offering you guys and gals a fair and honest Tournament Circuit with a decent payback. I love the Sport of Bass Fishing. I’m not trying to get rich, just trying to get by.
