Didn’t we have a GREAT TIME at the Cook-Out. Thanks for all the compliments and for coming. I always have that fear that no one will come? We had the best of times and Joe Martin and his pickers were great to listen to. Thanks to all the great cooks that took time to help, and for the food that everyone brought.
The tournament was good too, cool and a light rain in the morning, but the sun certainly came out for weigh-in. No big stringers (but it is Brownwood), but Joe and Susie gave us a run for our money as they culled (3) and Tommy just barely pulled us through again with one fish. Thank goodness!!
Next month we go to Amistad and it will be hot, so please bring lots of sunblock and water. We can all pray for rain like we had last year, but the weather man doesn’t think it will happen.
Amistad Lodge is our headquarters so we will see you at 5-6 for registration at the restaurant patio. We will launch at DIABLO EAST at safe light and weigh-in at the ramp from 3-3:30 pm
Pam and I would like to congratulate Dalton and Carrie Cooley on their second place finish here at Brownwood and to say a Big Thank-You for their help with the food on Saturday and for jumping in and helping with the tournaments this year.
