Anglers Quest 2010 Lake Livingston Individual Series #6 out of Kickapoo Bait & Tackle in Onalaska, TX began this event with 8 anglers showing up to fish for the $1280.00 purse. This 6th event of 2010 was started at 5:55 am. The weigh in time was conducted at 3:15 pm.

FLASH All A/Q lake series championships have been reinstated for 2010 and will be done on home series lakes. The Individuals entering all 9 or the last 4 events for the Individual series will automatically qualify for all 4 Series Championships. Top 25 in pounds from any Individual Series with a minimum of 4 events entered will also qualify for championship. If you qualify for any A/Q Championship you will also qualify to go to the 2-day “Tournament of Champions”on November 13-14 on Lake Palestine.

Lake Livingston water was in really good shape and about normal pool level with water temps running 80-83 degrees. The weather at takeoff was a calm 80 degrees with a warming to 94 degrees by weigh in time. The fish catching continued to be pretty good today as there were 3 limits brought to the scales, for a total of 24 bass at 66.02 lbs making the average bass brought to the scales today weigh 2.75 lb.

Joey Martin from Livingston, Tx ran David Burns’s Ranger/Yamaha bass rig to the Kickapoo creek area to catch his bass flippin Santone Lures rattling jigs with a fat albert trailer useing his G-Loomis rod in 1-3 ft of water around docks & piers with brush. Joey managed to catch 7 keepers and culled to his best 5 to finish in 1st place with 16.56 lbs. Joey also had the Big Bass of the event, a fine 4.28 lber. Joey had also purchased a set of tires for his pickup from Tiremax and collected the Tiremax Incentive Bonus. This made Joey $1080.00 for his 1st place day on the water.

Chris DiBerardino from Huffman, Tx ran his Bass Guard wrapped BassCat/Mercury bass rig to the Triple creek & Kickapoo Creek areas to catch his bass with his American Rodsmiths rods flipping Tx rigged plastic worms and throwing chartreuse chatter baits in 1-5 ft of water. Chris managed to catch 12 keepers and culled to his best 5 to finish in 2nd place with 15.52 lbs. Chris collected $160.00 for his day on the water.

Chris Wallace from Coldspring, Tx ran his bass rig to Whiterock & Caney creek areas to finish in 3rd with his best 5 bass, caught using chartreuse/white spinner baits in 1-5 ft water around shoreline cover that tipped the scales at 12.00 lbs. Chris collected the Santone & ZZ Lure Gift Certificates for his 3rd place day on the water.

Larry Bagley finished his day in 4th with 3 bass that tipped the scales at 7.47 lbs.
