Kimble Wins on a Rough Rayburn

Glen Kimble fought the high water and winds along with 24 others on Sam Rayburn Sunday March 13th to come out in first place with 5 bass weighing 21.75lbs. Mr. Kimble won $540.00 for his first place finish. He reported catching his fish out of his Skeeter/Yamaha boat/motor, north of the 147 bridge in 3 foot of water on Sinkos.

Mr. Butch Hollis came in second with his 5 fish limit weighing 14.10lbs. He took home $330.00 for his efforts.

Coming in third place was Jody Norsworthy with four bass that weighed 13.57 lbs., and he also caught the biggest fish of the day, a 7.12lb’er. Jody reported catching his fish also north of the 147 bridge but in 17-18 ft of water on a Carolina rig out of his Legend/ Mercury boat/motor. Jody won a total of $370.00 for his day on the lake.

Jace Rutherford took fourth place with a limit weighing 13.13 lbs. He won $130.00 for his efforts.

And rounding out the top 5 was Mr. Antony Sharp. He caught 5 that weighed 12.98 and he got his $75.00 entry fee back….
