“Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!” Announces Partnerships with ACR Electronics and CCA Florida

The highly acclaimed “Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!” (LLGF) educational series announces new partnerships with ACR Electronics and Coastal Conservation Association Florida (CCA). The relationship will serve to further efforts to encourage the female sector to participate in fishing and boating through educational programming.

Known for its emphasis on conservation, LLGF offers weekend, immersion-based fishing universities focused on women and novice to mid-level experienced anglers. What sets this series apart is the one-on-one skill practice, including catch and release, de-hooking, spin, net and fly casting, boat handling, trailer backing, knot tying, conservation and more. Most weekend events include classes, the hands-on skill practice, networking and optional charter fishing. Other fishing experiences have been added to reach new communities. The program focuses on women, their male guests and teens to include the family.

ACR Electronics joins the list of major partners including Recreational Fishing and Boating Foundation/Take Me Fishing/Vamos a Pescar, Mercury, Ranger Boats, Magic Tilt trailers, Penn, and Fish Florida.

“We’re excited to partner with these fantastic organizations who have interest in reaching out to women entering the sport of fishing,” commented LLGF Founder, Betty Bauman.

LLGF welcomes ACR Electronics as their boating safety sponsor, to promote awareness and implementation of boating safety precautions as part of the boating safety movement taking place in Florida. Florida is home to LLGF, ACR and 80% of the nation’s recreational vessels.

“LLGF is a one of a kind group of women who love being out on the water and learning new things. We see a lot of opportunity with this new partnership, to reach decision makers who will prioritize investing in boating safety products over the fun but less essential accessories for their boats,” expressed Nichole Kalil, Public Affairs and Media Manager for ACR Electronics.

CCA Florida joins the Annual sponsors including Humminbird, Minn Kota, Freedom Boat Club, Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, Savage Gear/Okuma, Treasure Cay Beach, Marina & Golf Resort, Sunrise Resort & Marina, AFTCO/Guy Harvey, Future Angler Foundation, Seaguar and Power-Pole. CCA Florida, Florida’s leading organization dedicated to marine fisheries and coastal conservation education and advocacy, embraces this new partnership to build relationships with Florida anglers.

About Coastal Conservation Association Florida

The Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) was founded in 1977 after drastic commercial overfishing along the Texas coast decimated redfish and speckled trout populations. One of 19 state chapters, CCA Florida, became the fifth state chapter in 1985. A 501(c)3 non-profit, the purpose of CCA is to advise and educate the public on conservation of marine resources.  Through habitat restoration projects, water quality initiatives and fisheries advocacy, CCA Florida works with over 18,000 members including recreational anglers and outdoor enthusiasts to conserve and enhance marine resources and coastal environments. Additionally, CCA offers the Florida State-wide Tournament and Angler’s Rodeo (STAR), Florida’s largest fishing tournament.
