Participants should sign up at least one month in advance for the charter boats on https://ladiesletsgofishing.com/tampa once they have registered for the Sept. 9 event. They may also sign up on their own for drift fishing with Hubbard’s Marina, Madeira Beach, FL.

“We’re excited to help women feel more comfortable to enter the sport of fishing in the Tampa area,” commented Betty Bauman. “Women represent 45% of all new anglers. Once they gain knowledge of the equipment and strategy, their entry into the sport will make a positive impact on the industry, and give them something fun to share with friends and family.”

The final 2018 LLGF event is Oct.19-21 in Islamorada with a full day of inshore and offshore instruction by fishing legends, hands-on practice, networking and two days of optional fishing.
