The Fish are biting on lake Houston!!!! We had 18 boats show up that caught 16 limits, 80 fish, that totaled 199.68 lbs making the average fish weigh 2.49 lbs.
The Team of Greg Crawford & Lee Lacour won with 5 fish weighing 21.56 lbs. with the BIG BASS weighing 6.97 lbs… WOW…just WOW !!!! they won $1,535.00 for their awesome day on the water.
The Team of Kary Essl & Danny StAndrie came in second with 5 fish that weighed 14.26 lbs. Kary and Danny received the second place check for $800.00. Kary reported that they ” Got em” on a mixture of baits; Blades, Buzz, Frogs and flippin’ plastics around shallow cover. And they would like to give a BIG THANK YOU!!! to their Sponsors : Mercury, Bimini Bay Outfitters, Bowden Marine, Toyota, Motorguide, Seaguar, Mustad and Hookspit Nation
Albert White and Brandon White came in third place with 5 fish that tipped the scales at 14.23 lbs. They took home $535.00 for their day on the water. They fished out of their Triton / Mercury rig and would like to thank Saltlife and Bimini Bay Outfitters for their support.
Kevin Wade and Brandon Troutman came in fourth with five fish that weighed 14.21 lbs. The also had a nice 5.07 lb’er….. No money for fourth place, but definitely an awesome day of fishing on Lake Houston. We appreciate ya guys !!
