Individual Event #5
There were 22 Individuals who came out to fish the 5th AQ Individual event on Lake Houston. The morning started off with a light fog and take off was
6:10 am…..
Sandro Alfaro brought in the winning stringer of fish that weighed 16.68 lbs… That my Friends, is a good day of fishing!!! Sandro reported catching his fish south on docks, chunking crank baits and Texas rigged Craws… Sandro took home the first place check for $580.00.. Not bad for a $75.00 entry fee.. Way to go Sandro !!!!
Curtis Jordan is on a roll this year, he took second place with a limit of 5 bass weighing 14.63 lbs. Another awesome stringer for Lake Houston. Curtis reported catching his fish in the west fork on Carolina Rigged worms. he took home the second place check for $290.00. Keep up the good work Curtis !!!
Joe Barringer came in third place with his limit weighing 14.55 lbs. Joe reported catching his fish in the bayou in brush in 2-6 ft of water. Joe won $175.00 for his day on the water. Great job Joe!!
Russell Traylor took fourth place with his 5 fish limit weighing 14.00 lbs. even… Russell won $115.00 and said all his fish came out of the east fork on spinner & crank baits. Good work Russell !!!
And Adam Boyd caught the biggest bass of the day on a jig on docks! Mr. Boyd received $100.00 for that one bite !!
To all “my Fishermen” THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!! Some of you guys have fished with me for years, and some are just starting to fish Anglers Quest. I appreciate each and everyone of you !!! And a special Thank you to My son & daughter-in-law, Tommy and Morgan Permenter for all their help and taking me and mee-maw out on the water for a little while, I love you guys !!!
