Joseph Polityka of Leesport, PA was the Grand Prize winner in a drawing to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show® presented by Field & Stream and Outdoor Life.
Polityka won a Smoker Craft Resorter fishing boat/trailer equipped with a Evinrude E-tec 40 hp motor valued at $12,000 donated by Towne Marine of Bloomsburg, PA, and $1,000 worth of groceries, donated by Giant.
Polityka’s name was selected from over 10,000 entries.
“I couldn’t believe it! You think, who wins these things? Until you win,” said Polityka.
Polityka says he and his family will use the boat to explore and fish Pennsylvania lakes.
“The boats deep V hull will be good for multi-species fishing,” Polityka said.
