At its recent annual sales meeting, MarineEast recognized three independent reps for significant contributions to the bottom line. Achieving an enviable 17% growth in his territory of Florida’s east coast, Georgia and Alabama, Greg Hardison of Love & Associates was named sales representative of the year. Peter Brewer of Cressy Marketing was recognized for selling the most new products and Alex Love of Love & Associates sold the most new-design products.
“We had another great year thanks to our sales team,” said MarineEast president Kenneth Coates. “This year’s award winners demonstrate the same commitment to sales and service that we devote to our thousands of innovative products.”
Hardison, based in Greenville, North Carolina, “has an extensive knowledge of marine aftermarket and purchasing needs,” said Coates. Love, based in St. Augustine, Florida, “has excellent customer relationships and rapport,” and Peter Brewer, in South Bend, Indiana, “values service above all else, which is critical when selling new designs.”
MarineEast was recently acquired by Kenneth Coates. Former owner David Thompson remains with the company as chief designer.
