Mark Pack’s Lake Fork Trophy Bait and Tackle hasTwo Pro-Staffers in Top Ten of Mega-Bucks Day 1

Lake Fork Trophy Bait & Tackle have two of their Pro-Staffers claiming top ten finishes after the first day of Mega- Bucks tourney held on Lake Murray in South Carolina today.  Todd Faircloth of Jasper, Texas weighing in an impressive stringer 19.12 lbs for a second place standing along with Mark Pack of Mineola, Texas weighing in a solid weight of 16.03 lbs for the 9th place finish after day one. With most anglers sight fishing and fewer fish being found day two should be very interesting. With reports of the fish moving out and the added pressure of the recent FLW tourney anglers will need all their talents to hold their leads.

Other Lake Fork Trophy Bait & Tackle Pro -Staffers fishing this event are Dean Rojas from Lake Havasu City, Az in 14th place weighing in 15.04 lbs. and Alton Jones of Waco, Texas in 46th place weighing in 11.12 lbs.

Two more competition days , and the field of 300 anglers will be cut to 10. The top 10 fishermen are given Friday off and continue the event Saturday and Sunday on a 10-hole bass course designed by tournament officials. The course is off-limits to anglers the first three days of competition. Each angler is given 50 minutes to fish each area, and then rotated to the next spot. 

At Lake Murray last week Lake Fork Trophy Bait & Tackle Pro- Staffers fishing FLW Tournament were, Todd Faircloth, of Jasper, Texas tied for 13th place along with fellow Pro- Staffer Cody Bird, from Granbury, Texas, Kelly Jordon of Mineola, Texas in 23rd place and Mark Pack also from Mineola, Texas finished in the money with a 45th place finish.
