High winds made Lake Wright Patman extremely hard to fish, but it was no match for our CAST couples. There were lots of fish caught despite the elements.
Doing a great job and taking first place with a limit of bass weighing 14.70 lbs was Marty and Jill Sugg. They also captured the big bass of the day, weighing in a very nice fish at 5.70 lbs. Second place was taken by one of our brand new couples, Rickey and Shirley Adams. They weighed in a 5 fish limit goings 13.32 lbs. Catching another 5 fish stringer was Joel and Lea Ann Howell. They took third place with 10.15 lbs. Congratulations to everyone.
We welcomed 3 more new couples to the ArkTex Region at the Wright Patman tournament. We are really growing this year and would like to invite any husband and wife team who are thinking about joining a club to come fish with us at our next tournament on Lake Pat Mayse.
