McClain Wins Bass Fishing League Hoosier Division On Ohio River

WHAT: Frank McClain of Scottsburg, Ind., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 9 pounds, 5 ounces Saturday, June 26, 2010 to win $5,386 in the FLW BFL Hoosier Division tournament on the Ohio River. McClain was fishing the main river near wood and rocks using crankbaits to catch his limit.

WHAT: Danny Abrams of Greensfork, Ind., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 5 pounds, 5 ounces Saturday, June 26, 2010 to win $1,561 in the FLW BFL Hoosier Co-angler Division on the Ohio River. He also was fishing in the main river and was using a jitterbug to sack his limit.

NOTES: The next BFL Hoosier Division tournament is scheduled for July 10, at Tanners Creek in Lawrenceburg, Ind. After the fifth Hoosier Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville, Ky., on Oct. 21-23, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
