Mroczek Wins Bass Fishing League Great Lakes Division Event on Lake Winneconne

WHAT: Matt Mroczek of Madison, Wis., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 12 pounds, 12 ounces Saturday, June 19, 2010 to win $4,695 in the FLW BFL Great Lakes Division tournament on Lake Winneconne. Mroczek was dragging green pumpkin tubes over rocky bottoms in 8-10 feet of water to sack his limit.

WHAT: Matt Cummings of Baraboo, Wis., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 11 pounds, 6 ounces Saturday, June 19, 2010 to win $2,348 in the FLW BFL Great Lakes Co-angler Division on Lake Winneconne. Cummings was running black frogs over pads and crawling green tubes in 2-6 feet of water to haul in his limit.

NOTES: The next BFL Great Lakes Division tournament is scheduled for July 10, on the Mississippi River/Wabasha Pools 4-5 in Wabasha, Minn. After the fifth Great Lakes Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville, Ky., on Oct. 21-23, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
