AQ Houston Team #2
THIRTY-ONE Teams came out to Lake Houston Marina to fish the 2nd Anglers Quest Team Event of 2018.
With the winds blowing 10 to 25 out of the south, it made for some pretty rough waters on Saturday.
The team of Brandon Flowers & Curtis Jordan came in first place with the winning weight of 14.23 lbs.
Brandon reported “ We caught our fish on the north end of the lake flipping Creature style baits in 2 feet of water or less. We would like to thank God and our wives for letting us fish.” Brandon & Curtis won $1,700.00 for their day on the rough waters.
Randy Quin came in second place Saturday weighing five bass for 13.83 lbs. he won $1,120.00 for his day on the water.
The father & son team of Albert White & Brandon White came in a close third with their 5 fish weighing13.60 lbs. Albert & Brandon won $730.00 for doing what they love….. Ya know, one of the best things about tournament fishing is getting a check. Doing that with your son, that’s gotta be priceless……..
Ben Pope & Clayton Smith came in 4th place with a limit weighing 13.39lbs. They won $580.00 for their day on the muddy waters.
Sandro Alfaro & James Chandler came in 5th place winning $ 485.00 with their limit weighing 13.31 lbs.
Edward Jordan along with his partner weighed in 5 bas for 13.26 lbs. and won $250.00 for their efforts.
The big bass of the day went to Tommy Kingston & Stacy Carter. That one fish weighed 5.60 lbs., and they won $200.00 for that one bite.
