The National Bass Anglers Association and Scales and Tales Partners LLC announced today the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding outlining joint marketing initiatives that will focus on increasing participation in the sport. They will work together to launch new programs focused on promoting youth fishing opportunities as well as online and on-air initiatives aimed at promoting amateur tournament fishing.
“One of the primary tenements of our company’s mission is to help promote participation in the sport of fishing and to help enhance people’s ability to enjoy the sport, so this partnership with the NBAA is a natural step in achieving our goals,” stated Matt Anderson, CEO Scales and Tales Partners LLC. “We understand how important it is to get kids involved in fishing early and we understand the importance of providing ongoing opportunities to stay involved so we are really excited to have the Scales and Tales characters help bring these programs to life,” continued Anderson, adding “This is going to be great; something we can all be very proud of.”
“The NBAA has been dedicated to promoting participation in the sport for many years now through amateur fishing tournaments, and we are really excited about working with Scales and Tales to help us bring this same dedication to promoting the sport by focusing on new youth programs,” said Jim Sprague, President and Executive Director of NBAA. “It is so important to both the kids and to the sport that we get the youth involved early and keep them involved. It is such a great growth opportunity for the kids to be involved and it’s literally the future of our sport,” added Sprague. “We too are excited about this; it is such a fun and positive initiative and we cannot wait to get things going next season,” concluded Sprague.
