NEW FOR 2014: RANGER Z118C AND Z119C

Tournament level features and Ranger quality in a rig built for weekend anglers

Whether fishing your home lake or trailering to a regional tournament, the new Ranger Z118C and Z119C give anglers the ability to fish anywhere – for fun or for money – with the satisfaction and peace of mind that comes with owning the best-built, best-equipped boat brand on the water.

The new Ranger Z118C and Z119C include a host of best-in-class features, with several new refinements not seen in the previous Z100 Series designs. Both new models offer automatic bilge pumps, a padded front casting deck and front pedestal bike seat as standard features. Both models also offer built-in LED bow lights, integrated tool holder at the bow and front deck step and new membrane-style console switches.

The Z118C and Z119C also feature true bucket driver and passenger seats with a handy center storage box in between. With the ability to accommodate larger electronics at the console and at the bow, both models also feature a recessed foot pedal and offset mounting space for bow electronics to minimize interference with the trolling motor cable.

“You don’t have to fish for a living to appreciate the Z118C and Z119C,” said Ranger Boats President Randy Hopper. “These boats offer so much standard equipment and high-end, tournament-level features, yet are easier to tow and stow and are even more maneuverable thanks to the smaller footprint. And they’re at home in any level of tournament competition across the country.”

Measuring 18 feet, 8 inches, the new Ranger Z118C is rated for 150 horsepower, while the 19 feet, 6 inch Z119C is rated for outboards up to 225 horsepower. Ultra stable on pad, the boats feature a pultruded fiberglass transom, fiberglass stringer system and high performance design. Sea Star Pro hydraulic steering provides a responsive, one-piece feel and smooth, easy handling. Both models are available in single- and dual-console designs and offer center and portside rod storage for rods up to 8 feet in length. The Z118C and Z119C come standard with Lowrance Mark-5X Pro electronics at the console, a Minn Kota Maxxum 24V trolling motor and 15×2 on-board battery charger.

Both the new Z118C and Z119C come standard with a custom-built RangerTrail trailer, designed specifically for each model to ensure solid towing and easy maneuvering for the life of the boat. All RangerTrail trailers are equipped with a durable Road Armor finish, designed to shield against rock chips, road debris and other hazards while helping retain higher resale value and peace of mind. Each trailer also offers LED lights, aluminum wheels, COOL Hub lubrication system, torsion axle suspension and a locking, swing-away tongue with matching fiberglass fenders and a full-size spare.
