During its annual meeting, the National Marine Representatives Association (NMRA) announced its new 2008-2009 officers and board members. The event took place at the recent Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show (MAATS) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The new president of the organization is Tim Luehmann of SM Osgood Co. in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Norm MacLeod of ComMar Sales, Tiverton, Rhode Island, steps into the position of past president.
Jeff Gueterman of GSW & Associates in Apex, North Carolina, assumes the role of vice president and Rick Silverlake of Silverlake West Co. in Huntington Beach, California now serves as treasurer. Chris Kelly of Waters & David Co. in New Orleans, Louisiana, joins the officers as secretary after serving on the NMRA board of directors.
Three new members were elected and one appointed to serve a three-year term of the eight-seat NMRA board of directors. They are Tom LaSanta of Anchor Sales and Marketing, Bayou Vista, Texas; Scott White of Charles A. Perry & Co., Lexington, South Carolina; Ivan Cross of Merifield Co., Camano Island, Washington and W.M. (Pat) Black of W.M. Black & Co., Mentor-On-The-Lake, Ohio.
They join existing board members Brandon Flack of Atlantic Marketing, Stonington, Connecticut; Mike Bugeski of JB Dunn Co., Lexington, South Carolina; Kathy Munzinger of Munzinger & Co., Springfield, Missouri and Joe Miller of William F. Miller & Associates, in Nashville, Tennessee. Outgoing board members include Charles A. Perry, III of Charles A. Perry & Co. in Jacksonville, Florida; Dave Burgess of L.F. Burgess & Associates, Lynden, Ontario and Bill Wickes of Wickes Marine, Tiverton, Rhode Island.
